  1. It was the Guiseley Music Festival in September this year. The band is Hysteria.
  2. I'm using an Aguilar DB751 with my VK 410LNT. I'm absolutely delighted with that combination. Picture attached hopefully.
  3. As there's been no real interest I've decided to keep it.
  4. Just sold my Mike Lull bass to Sean. Great guy to deal with. An absolutely hassle-free transaction with excellent comms and prompt payment. A credit to Basschat, you can deal with Sean with total confidence.
  5. I have one of these and can vouch that these are excellent basses. GLWTS
  6. Got too many amps so up for sale is my Ampeg PF800. It's in excellent condition as it has always been transported and kept in a Gator mixer bag. It has all that warm Ampeg sound and kicks out 800 watts at 4ohms. I have had it from new and it has served me well, especially when I needed a light weight amp for a bad load-in. Full spec is as follows. Ampeg PF-800 Portaflex Bass Amplifier Head RMS Power Output: 800W @ 4 ohms Preamp: MOSFET Power Amp: Class D Tone Controls: Bass, Mid, Treble Mid-tone control: 5-position Boost: Ultra High/Lo boost Compressor: On-Board Compressor Balanced Direct Out: Pre/post EQ option 40 dB pad Ground lift FX: FX loop with dedicated mix control (foot switchable) Inputs: Power amp in, Line in, -15 dB input pad Outputs: Preamp out, 1/8" headphone out Mute: Foot switchable Power supply: switching Dimensions (H x W x D inches): 3 x 15 x 11 Weight (kg): 5.35kg Prefer collection from Leeds or meet up within reasonable distance but I will courier if needed at buyer's expense.
  7. Saw him a while ago in Bingley. Absolutely hilarious. Great evening, and my missus enjoyed it too!

  9. These are great combos. I have one for rehearsals with a 5 piece rock band as practice amp but I used to use it for both upright and electric bass jazz gigs and it filled the room. Very portable (especially with the Rockbag) and really does punch above its weight. Great bit of kit. Good luck with the sale - worth every penny.
  10. Yes Nick, it was one of yours and I've thoroughly enjoyed playing it and It's a great bass. Thing is, sadly my playing days are greatly reduced now so it's pointless hanging on to it. Someone else should have the pleasure of owning and using it. Having said that, if it doesn't sell I'll be more than happy to keep it and pull it out occasionally for home use.
  11. I should have added that it's quite light for a Jazz bass at only 9lbs. As such, after looking at the pics and the spec on the website, I may have got the wood type wrong and it could be a swamp ash body. Maybe some of you more knowledgeable guys can help me out on that?
  12. I'm not gigging anywhere as often as I used to so I'll have to be realistic and scale down on the gear front. As a result I'm offering my Mike Lull V4 for sale. It's in immaculate condition and a beautiful instrument both in looks and playability as anyone who has had the luck to play one can testify. It comes with a Mike Lull branded Protec lightweight hard case/gig bag that is also in perfect condition. The detailed specs from the website are as follows. Collection from Leeds or meet up within reasonable distance (say 100 miles). Don't want to courier it as I don't trust them.
