  1. Forgot to mention on the ad its 4ohms & rated at 200watts rms
  2. Oh & pm returned to silverfoxnik
  3. First of all, i must say a big thank you to Matt for coming to my rescue in putting this ad up for me. I've had numerous pc crashes trying to put this ad up myself. So big cheers to Matt
  4. If you look in the basschatters review section i believe that telebass & a few others have put a review about these basses
  5. Hi Nick Congrats on a grand job you have made on these cabs, if i hadn't seen this build diary i would have sworn that was proffessionally made speaker cabs on your final pics. Hopefully when the next midlands bass bash is arranged which was in the worcs/ hereford area, you could hopefully attend & bring your rig. I'm sure we love to hear these in action .
  6. I'm with walman on this, I'm far to much of a scaredy cat to attempt to set my own bass up, much rather let someone wiser have a go than attempt it myself.
  7. This could turn out very interesting, i'm keeping my eye on this thread
  8. Pm sent
  9. Wow !! I had the pleasure of trying one of these heads into my 2 swr 2x10's. With the sub harmonic generator switched in, it made the 2x10's sound absolutely huge & full in the bottom end & really sweet in the top end like i've never heard them before, "hell yes" was i impressed with the sound made the windows in his house rattle too . Caught him by surprised how nice it sounded thro' 2x10's.
  10. oh i must say i've heard this in action at the midlands bass bash & quite impressed. i must say i'm shocked to see you maybe parting with this.
  11. I've voted hybrid. I use an Swr sm400s which uses a valve in the pre-amp stage & tranny poweramp. I also have Swr's grand prix preamp which uses a valve & the Swr stereo poweramp which is transistor.
  12. Just because the bass is sold, doesn't mean you have to stop posting the pics
  13. Recently completed a great transaction with this young man who agreed to meet me on my travels up north so i could collect my purchase from him. Many thanks Bernie.
  14. Indeed he has got a bargain, when i brought mine the retail price on these basses were £1395.00

    G-bitch

Great transaction, helped me out by delivering item to me in his lunch break. Cheers.
  16. Mmm sounds like you maybe missing a bit of the Swr magic
  17. Mmm tempted to put up some hardcore pics of mine up too
  18. Oh well done that man i do hope that it is as good as you hoped
  19. Its mainly due to being the wrong time of the year. I know my finances are being drained at the moment due to the kids being on their school holidays. Keeping them entertained with daytrips etc isn't cheap anymore Plus buying them new school uniforms for the forthcoming new term. Works out to a distinct lack of funds at the mo'.
  20. Sorry musky, well corrected, thats what i meant to say. I'm with warwickhunt on some parts of his confusion. imho, my theory on this judging by the overall condition from the pics posted is that its been very rarely played for its age, infact its probably been dismantled & cleaned more times than its been played.
  21. I dare ya
  22. I know its a small shop with limited bass stock, but they are very helpful in there.
  23. I always thought my squier jv pbass was quite light as well as my previous bass the warwick streamer stage 1.
  24. Indeed a bargain it is. I also own one of these, mines in sunburst. As OTPJ says a large range of sounds can be coaxed out of these basses, great preamp & very powerful pickups.
