1. well i need the cash so £300 plus a tenner to cover part postage!?? its a cracking bass and legendary status quality well worth it!!
2. Been toying with letting this one go for a while as i dont use it that much, i tend to favour my energy more. Its in really nice condition - apart from some laquer cracks on the rear, but hardly any other marks. It has the usual chrome pickup, but unusually a factrory fitted preamp. the controls are vol, active/passive mini toggle switch, mid freq boost/cut mini toggle switch, bass/treble stacked pot. This is genuine factrory status preamp and really helps to get some lovely tones. the neck is straight and smooth and theres plenty of life left in the frets. chrome bridge in good shape - slight pitting. There is a small crack in the scratchplate beside the jack socket, but its safe and secure in situ, i've no doubt these could be obtained from status direct? Recently set up with nice low action and a fresh set of flatwound strings. I'll throw in a padded gig bag with it and even throw in free postage. Looking for £400 ono

5. Ive got a chrome badass II which i removed from a fretless jazz i had a while ago - kept it with the intention of using it again, but after just buying a P/J off here with one fitted I no longer need it. The bass it came from was a jazz copy, and it had the badass fitted to it when i got it, therefore it was grooved by the previous owner. If I recall it has regular jazz string spacing grooves but dont quote me on that! its in good shape but ive lost the screws (but i guess if your fitting to an existing bass then you can simply use the screws off that bridge! £40 posted
6. can't vouch for a fretless acoustic as ive never had one, but i do have a washburn AB10 fretted elecro acoustic. It sounds GREAT!!! lovely warm acoustic tone, has an onboard eq so you can tweak it a fair bit, plays nice too, I can definately recommend theses and i'm guessing a fretless version of it would sound lovely too!!
7. I had the same mex one in sunbirst, sold it acoupke of months ago, but it was great, lovely feel and tone, ive since replaced it with the active version and still very impressed with these! I'm no expert in bass terms but theyre good value and they comortably keep up with my other higher end basses! the jazz profile necks are great if like me you suffer with hand size issues!!!
8. don't know anything about this one but I WANT it!! looks lush!
9. you could always buy this and return the doubler!!!!
10. typical! someone must be after one of these!!??
11. what about the EA micro?? nice and light, powerful, small...and did i mention i have one for sale!???
12. i use flats on everything!! had them on a few jazzes ive owned over the years and they sound great, lovely tone and i used to love the tone with them on the bridge pickup!! well recommended!!
13. OK, so only just bought this last week from here off eubassix. Its immaculate as new, great sounding head, fantastically light and portable, heres a link to the original post (hope you dont mind eubassix) http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=72901 I've got to sell as just picked my car up from local main dealer this mornng and was presented with an ever so lovely bill for £500+ for work theyve done!!!! Icant bear to sell a bass, and on the 'last in first out' principal this one has to go! Not looking to make anything on it so sell for what it cost me £450 incl shipping
14. this is a feeler at present... Its an ashdown MAG600 (UK built) ive had it aboout 8mths and been great no problems/issues at all. However.. ive just acquired an EA micro (thanks to eubassix) so the mag may become surplus to requirements (havent had a chance to fire up the EA in a gigging situation yet, although using it at rehersal tomorrow! I wanted a lightweight head due to developing back problems (arthritis in lower spine, mixed with what appears to be symptoms of sciatica!) so got the EA but ive never had one before so i like to keep all options open. Anyway, sale would be £200 or i'd consider trades for basses (preferably a squier CV precision) dont know if anyone may be interested in this, but like i say just a feeler at the minute till ive had a chance to get to know the EA micro and gigged with it!!!
15. Here's mine, 1212L and newly aquired EA micro head!
16. Another great deal with you sir! top bloke great to deal with, honest and reliable - just wish there were more people in the world like you!! will let you know how i get on with the head after rehersals at the weekend.
