1. There is no padauk on the body, this is full mahogany. I have a version of the 1306 with the mahogany / padauk sandwitch, see the picture below (the other bass on the left is a SR3006E w/ full mahogany body) Anyway, this great bass with killer upgrades (Emg and Aguilar OBP) Whoever buys it will not be disappointed to say the least.
2. If my memory serves well, there was the original 3006 that they were making for a year in 2001 with Ibanez pickups, called SR3006SOL, then it was changed to Barts and got the "E" after the 3006 name, so it became SR3006ESOL in 2002. This ran unchanged until 2005 when the Prestige SR1006 replaced it. You can have a look and search for it here within the old Ibanez catalogs http://www.ibanez.co.jp/anniversary/ I'm pretti sure in 2005 they already had the other model, the 1006, but they might continue to produce this for Japan or other markets. But I'm not familiar with Ibanez's serial numbers regarding early 2000 Jap Prestiges. It is a damn good bass, would be tempted if I hadn't already had one plus an earlier Ibanez sixer and other Prestige fiver. Good luck with the sale, whoever gets this will be satisfied.
3. Sir, are you sure about the year it has been made? I have the exact same bass and I was under the impression these were made between 2004 and 2006. Anyway, not that it really matters, I have been over 40 basses and my Sr3006E is the only one I sold and bought back, and still is my main bass. Will probably never let go again. I honestly think this is the pinnacle of Ibanez basses :-)
4. :-) ok, I got it
5. The eq is two band, the vol is push-pull. 9v is correct. Fretboard is wenge, the body is bubinga, neck is wenge/bubinga The bass is still available by the way. Also sorry for the late reply, I was travelling.

7. PM sent, sorry for the delay, And bump.
8. Also cabs will be considered as trades, too. (410, 115 only)
9. Thanks Graham!
10. By the way, Palypal is preferred.
11. For sale is my Warwick Thumb NT5 from 1991 The bass is stock and in very good condition considering it's age. The only major thing is a nick on the lower part of the body, you can see it on one pic. The bass has a new set of D'Addario Prims on it since last week, with about 30 minutes playing in it and is well set up.. The bass has a HSC, too. The bass is in Hungary, will be packed well if shipped. I'm not active much on this forum but you can check my feedback on Talkbass (Paulhauser), or on ebay (pal267267). 1250 GBP / 1600 EUR, including shipping within EU. As I have too many basses I vastly prefer sale over trade. This being said, with the right offer I might be ok with trade, too. Here is a list of what's intresting for me (with cash adjustment on either end as per discussion) - No 4 string basses and no fretless basses thank you. - 5 string Sadowskys (J) - 5 sting Sandberg Californias - 5 string Spector Euros - 6 string Yamaha TRB P or IIP - 6 string Ibanez Prestige Soundgears - 6 string MTD's - Conklin GTBD7 - 5 string Zon Sonus - 5 string Modulus Quantums - 5/ 6 string WW Streamer Stage I/II - EBS or Aguilar heads (no others, thanks) Uploaded with ImageShack.us Uploaded with ImageShack.us Uploaded with ImageShack.us Uploaded with ImageShack.us Uploaded with ImageShack.us Uploaded with ImageShack.us Uploaded with ImageShack.us Uploaded with ImageShack.us Uploaded with ImageShack.us
12. I have just got the Alembic this morning. It was very well packed and survived the journey from England to Hungary in one piece. Graham is a nice gentleman to deal with, all the comminication was flawless and it was a real easygoing deal, despite international shiment and bank transfer. Thanks Graham for this great instrument and if anyone is about to deal with Graham, do it with confidence! Paul
13. Is this still for sale?
14.
lozl..?
Did you get my PM? Paul
15. Hello Everyone! I'm looooong have been lurking around as 'guest' but now decided to register and introduce myself. I'm from Hungary, playing bass, climbing mountains and having a great family (2 kids). Playing bass for 4 years now (kind of started very late, but better late than never....) I play in a modern melodic rock/metal band called Charmadynia, where I play bass (duhhh.. :-) ) and also write the lyrics. You can check my myspace for the latest 3 track demo recording. www.myspace.com/palpurnhauser Feel free to comment here or there BTW. I use Spector, Yamaha and MLP custom basses, Prolude heads and EBS cabs. Also, on my myspace site you can check them in a blog entry- Apart from the band I like to play solo pieces, most recently I have learning the Bach cellos suites and some other 'classical' pieces arranged for bass. So all the best to everyone!
