1. I had the 410 version of this and only sold because I moved to a EBS Fafner II + 2x410 EBS Proline combination. Such a good sounding combo for such an attractive price . Have a free bump from a fellow EBS user!
2. SOLD!
3. This one is a pre-EURO model, full maple wings instead of the alder/walnut/maple they using in the last 10 or so years. Used to have one like this in green, lovely bass. If I haven't already had 3 Spectors, I'd buy this in a heartbeat.
4. To the top....
5. Where are you based at? What kind of pream this Euro has? Any info on the date production? Also more pics always help selling a bass.
6. Thanks, but no. You can see the instruments I'm possibly interested in trading in the first post. These day it's really a Spector or cash.
7. Hey, was it you who have switched the pickups? If so, what's the tonal differnce compared to the original EMG DC's? Thanks and good luck with the sale, these are incredible instruments (and I happen to own one EURO5, too)
8. Still for sale. Not really pushing it, but if there is a reasonable cash offer, I will happy to send it your way.
9.
Thanks Paul. Had I known you wanted it I would have offered it with some cash for your Sandy TM5.....
Couldn't have tempted me because in fact I had TWO of this bass in the past and sold both of them as I have found my holy grail 5 string, but would want a TRP6 at some point again. By the way, very good and comfortable necks on these TRBII 5's. Can not praise them enough. (and the TRBII 6 necks are the best six string bass necks I have ever played) Really, lots of quality and bass for this price.
10. These TRB's are of very good value. I had one like this and an other one in 6 string version. Stupid low action could be set on both of them and sounded very good. I sold the 5 string because I have used the 6 string version more but for some reason I have sold that, too. That is one of the only two basses I ever want to buy back. Good luck with the sale, somebody will have a great deal!
11. Make me a cash offer! There is a bass here that I'd like to purchase and as long it is available I accept reasonable cash offers!
12. String spacing at the bridge is 16.5 mm like mentioned in the specs? (maybe its just the pic, but it seems wider)
13. This is a very good sounding bass. I used to have a GT7 for a couple of years and only sold because I was quitting playing for a while. Despite the 7 strings it was one of the most comfortable and ergonomical bass I have every played. This is a recording I did with it so anyone who is curious how a GT7 sounds can hear. 14. PM's replied, bass still here.
15. MM SR5 added to the trade options
16. If its a Dingwall 5 then I'm interested (forgot to put that to the trade options)
17. For sale is my Sadowsky MV5. SN is M360 which dates it to 2004 All stock, no VTC. Maple board, maple neck, ash body. Weight is cca 3.8 kgs. It is a clean instrument with few marks and dings. You can see the headstock got some small nicks and also the body had some of the usual dents around the edges, swirls on the pickguard and marks on the backside of the body. Also on the back of the neck the finish started to worn off at two spots, giving it a well-played feel. I don't notice it when I play. Recently had a setup by local luthiers at Blasius Guitars and the strings are quite fresh still. Comes with the Sadowsky braded generic semi-hard shell case. Price includes bass, case and shipping within EU. Sorry for the pics, it is almost dark when I've taken them, but am happy to retake any of them or of specific parts of the bass you'd like to see. I could only insert one pic, but more can be found here: https://www.dropbox....ZAMnfCkE5eym8va I love the sound and the neck of this bass and also Roger Sadowsky is one of my all time favorite luthiers, but can not get around the string spacing and the (undersized) J body. In my limited plaing time I always pick my Spector or Ibanez Prestige and this is left mostly unplayed. This is not really a motivated sale as I like it having here, but also feels like it should be played and can not justify a Sadowsky having around without much playing. So if there is not much interest at this price I'm happy to keep it. No trades, except for these specific basses and a cab with value adjustment: - Ibanez SR5006, SR1006, GVB36, GWB1005. No other Ibanez basses - Spector US made 5 strings, both NT or bolt-on. 6 strings can also be an option. Can add cash for the right trade. No 4 string Spectors please. - EBS NEO212 cab. No other EBS (or other) cabs, I'm well set in this department but could use a ligher EBS 212 cab instead of the one I have. - a Dingwall ABI or ABZ 5 would be interesting, too. - possibly a Musicman SR5 + cash Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks for watching!
18. I had both 4LX, 5LX and currently also own one 5LX. The 4LX I had was the alder/walnut base with poplar top. Neck was chunky for a 4 string. The whole thing sounded a lot weaker than my 5 string Euro. Not output-wise, but overall. My friend had two 4 string euros with same result (compared to the Euro 5) The sound is personal preference anyway. The 5 string Euros I had and have currently have great necks for me. Not Ibanez SR-like thin, but I would not call them chumky by my standards. They are 35" as opposed to the 34" of the standard Euro 4LX My Euro 5 sounds GREAT in any musical situation I've put through it so far. Live and in studio both. As for a comparison with Stingray 5. Both of these can be heard in almost any mix. I have found Spectors to have more variety due to the 2 pu config (assume you talk about single MM pickup Stingray5) Spector is a lot more comfortable for me due to the string spacing and smaller body. Also has better sounding B in my experience. (I have found B string to be hit or miss on SR5's. Not on Spectors, all Euro 5's I had were great on the B string) Hope I was of help
19. Dealing with Jack was a non-issue at all. Wish all transaction would be as smooth as it was. I've sent payment on Monday, bass was dispatched Tuesday and arrived on Friday. The package was bombproof, bubblewraps and all, and the bass is excellent, just as described. So another thumbs up for Jack from Hungary!
20. His playing on Ark's Burn the sun is great, he and John Macaluso were a k..kass rhythmsection.
21. I hope you'll be selling this quickly, otherwise I'm in trouble :-D
