3. i used to use DR hibeams, but moved to Status hot wires when i got the headless basses. DR from string busters, 30-90 £28.50 Hotwire 30-90 £18.55 no noticable diffrence for me , other than the price.
 4.
oooooohhhhh. Can you bring it to the Bash ...pretty please?
if you have it in London ;-)
 5. I one as my first Bass in about 81, it was branded as K, if i recall the logo was on the truss rod cover. When i got my 2nd bass, i de-fretted it, painted florescent orange and yellow and generally messed about with it. What i find interesting is the shape is not to far off the kingbass that i use as my main bass

 15.
On Victoria Road, small world syndrome strikes again I guess! Phil
Hmm, seemed to miss this thread first time round , Im just round the corner on the Manor!
 16.
cool basses g-77, all you need now is a s2, and a MK-II and your done ... no seriously, nice collection buddy, what amp you going through??? mB
well the mkII dose nothing for me & the S2 i find uncomfortable to play, so next is either an all graphite KB 1 or another Streamline built to slightly different spec. At home i use as Superfly Head DI'ed into my sound desk, at rehearsal i use what ever they have in the room. On the rare occasion my band gigs , i hire a nice rig, this work out a lot cheaper than buying a rig that will get used once or twice a year!
 17. heres my lot with the recently acquired mooKB and some art
 18. Yep, i think each of my Status Basses are each worth more than my 15 year old Mazda MX6 & I got a Wal so that must be worth more than the car. The Mazda has 73k miles on it , i have had it for 11 years , runs well, no reason to change it , i probably drive less than 4k a year now
 19. I got a Motu 828 MK II , its usb & got lots of inputs, 2 xlr Mic with Phantom Power, lots out outputs & works as a Stand alone Mixer. http://www.motu.com/products/motuaudio/828mkII/ The 828 MK III if firewire and has built in EQ, compression and reverb. http://www.motu.com/products/motuaudio/828mk3 unfortunately both more that £100. I know a few people who use The Alesis Multimix 8 it comes as USB or Firewire, i believe the USB is more reliable http://www.guitarampkeyboard.com/en/alesis...mix-8-usb/66984 that around £120
 20.
Am I the only person who prefers Mk1?
nope i would rather go for a MK1
