I certainly don't recall ever seeing a mohican hair do at the Roxy for instance, they were more the "clone" types that came later and usually had virtually identical biker jackets with the back painted up and one arm studded (plus the tartan) etc etc. I remember from somewhere that apparently the "mohican" hair style that we associate, was in fact a "war" thing, and not a general everyday tribal hairstyle.

I'd just fiddle around to get some interesting bass sounds I liked... And make up some bass lines ! I've had a few old keyboard things and have done just this (even in a band context a few times).. and I can't play the piano at all really, worked for me and is great fun, you'll come up with totally different bass parts than you would on a bass guitar too.

This is a nice tribute to him in a foreign ad.. (wandering away from ace of spades a bit tho )

I remember a tv ad with him larking about with a kind of string quartet type thing, not sure if that was a beer ad...

I'm fairly sure I saw him on the telly at the time doing a cod version of playing a sax, with an actual sax.. It kind of stuck in my mind as I also played the sax a bit at that time..

I had an issue with another very similar MM Sub from them, lovely pics, described as 9/10 condition, but in the event some nasty digs out of the back of the neck, that someone's crudely tried to sand out, was covered in another thread a while back so enough said.

I do wish I'd kept the Jack version as it did sound good, and was just "handy" somehow. Anyway glad you got it ( and like it) as you'd been wanting one for a while it seems ! 👍
