  13. Hi ive had this just over a week, great amp, big sound, but a couple of things have just come up and this was bought as a second amp, so last in, first out RRP is £799 on these and it’s a week old! I’ll add better photos later
  14. I’ve recently had to take the pick up out of my sterling as I refinished it The wires are soldered directly onto the board, I’m ok at soldering but it still took a steady hand and a big magnifying glass as my eyes are not the best

  17. It’s going to be a great live amp! I had to swap amps round as the sound from this was just “too big” for the small, cold room it was in. That’s the only way I can describe how it sounded. My MM was fine but couldn’t get my sei jazz to work right, distinctive jazz sound with j-retro and Aguilar 70’s p/ups, so a definite mid scoop type of tone, New sire fretless was fine as well moved it into my lounge, nice carpet etc, and it sounds great my genzler is in my nearly finished studio room and is a much better match for that space maybe it’s the difference between the overall sound you get from a more traditional amp versus a class D amp, I don’t know, but all good Tony
  18. Here’s one for MM Caprice owners! when the caprice came out, I saw a diamond blue with rosewood board, which was never a standard option, they all had maple boards, so either a special order or a neck swap! I got myself a heritage tobacco burst model, which comes with a rosewood board. It’s a really nice bass, plays well, sounds great, little bit of neck dive, but not major! I’m waiting for a diamond blue to come up for sale, planning a neck swap! That in turn would create another non standard option with my current bass, a sunburst with maple board, which I know is a combo people like That’s the plan, but caprice’s don’t come up often, so maybe you own a diamond blue and yearn for a sunburst body? Let me know! Didnt know if to put this in the wanted section, but figured it might open some discuss, so admins please correct if I’m in wrong place cheers Tony
  19. A zoom B1-four just landed cheap enough off eBay, will give it a go later Tony
