  1. I had a 424, which generally I played with both pickups on as I found the same thing about the P pickup soloed. When I then bought a Squier P, I found that it made a sound stronger and more characterful than the BB's neck pickup, and played the basses equally.

  6. Trying to remember what buying and selling I've done. Early on, I bought Gramma pad from thebrig and a Line6 multieffects unit from Rich. I bought hooky_lowdown's Squier Matt Freeman, despite that ad saying withdrawn I sold the pickup from that bass to Can'tthinkofausername, who asked after it when he read that I had replaced it.   13. I sold a bass through them last year, and the experience was sufficiently pleasing that I'm very happily using them again right now.
  14. Something that is frustrating is when people conflate boosting the treble and bass with actively cutting the mids. Usually it helps to understand the individual perspective that comments are coming from.
  15. Don't be too sad for me, I've replaced it with a G&L SB-1, I'll live And it's over 2 lbs lighter.
