1. Ill head over and bring the Sunn 300T & Fender 135 with a lot of pedals. Im afraid Im a pretty piss poor player when it comes to rubbing shoulders with fellow players. Im 'very' out of practice and dont really play much music anymore.....more just sound and drones/loops so ill apologise in advance.
2. I'm looking to move on my Sansamp BDDI. My present set up means I never have cause to use it. I have owned this from new from around 4 years ago, with light gigging a few years back but mostly home use since. It is in excellent condition with box and manual. £100.00 posted. Paypal, cheque (or cash on collection if you're in the South Wales area).
3. Im not sure if youll really get the sound you want from just one pedal. Maybe the hyperdrive could just be run after another lower gain dirt pedal?
4. Sorted.
5. Bump. Reduced to £30.00 posted.
6.
Great pedal. You may find this interesting (free bump)
I did see the post actually, and whilst I am no tech head, I think this board is all the better for such insights. Thanks for the bump too. NE-1 on hold pending payment and the usual.
7. Up for sale is my Yamaha NE-1 parametric EQ pedal. The pedal runs fine with no issues and I have replaced the battery this afternoon. It comes with the original box and manual. I havent used it in years so should probably let it go. I'm sure if you are reading this then you have a good idea of its function but if not, there are a few recent for sale threads of this pedal which highlight its functions. Also see here; NE-1 Im looking for £40.00 with postage included. I would prefer Paypal for ease but cheque etc is good too. Thanks.
8.
I'd be very interested. Please give me first dibs if you decide to sell.... Cheers!
Will do
9. This is just a feeler at the moment until I decide to free these up. I just wanted to test the water with a used set of EMG PJ p'ups. They are the older style (without the connector clips), have signs of use (a few pick scrapes and some marks around the screw holes) but other than that, fully functioning and sitting around waiting for me to put them to good use.....or not as the case maybe. I can take photographs if anyone is strongly interested. Otherwise I will post them if I decide to sell. Please also feel free to ask anythin you might want to know. Ta
10.
How dirty can Fender Bassmans get? I've played vegashooker's 135 and it had a wonderful tone, but I can't recall if it was really driven hard. I'm throwing around the idea of a Bassman 70 or 100 and a Barefaced Compact so I can be loud enough for gigs, but get into power amp overdrive pretty easily. Thanks for all the suggestions already, by the way!
It does drive but has to be very loud. The offer is still on the table if you want to look after it for awhile. Give you some space to save for the Orange
11. Oh man, if only I had £600! That looks like a monster. Have a free bump.

13. To a certain extent you are always going to get feedback at high volumes and it can probably be sorted by any number of ways without affecting the sound you like from it. Good luck with the amp search, but by all means PM me if you need any help with a Bassman if you pick one up.
14. I used to use (and still have) an older Fender Bassman 135 and it was plenty loud for most gigs through a 4x10. That said, the Sunn 300T I have picked up since is much, much louder. I guess though if you are playing in a really loud band then it might not compete with more recent guitar heads. As mentioned by skankdelvar, they are old and from a time when bass amps didnt have to compete with massive guitar rigs. I used to drive it with both a Sansamp to sharpen the tone a little and then push it with a fulltone Bassdrive. I dont ever remember it sounding mushy but more of a solid grunt with plenty of clarity, grit and chest rattling goodness. If you do decide to go for it and it doesnt do your role in the band any justice then it is probably easily sold on. Folk love there retro amps! Thought about something smaller? Peavey T-max maybe? Rare, but not priced as such, brutally loud and SS/tube hybrid.
15.
Welcome to the board, your pictures have given me an erection.
Haha, Brilliant!
16. http://areena.yle.fi/video/316012 Leave it to buffer for a few minutes. The bass sounds a little farty and clipped through this mix.
17.
Yeah, i'm aware of the ISIS connection I like all of their stuff really, i just happened to be listening to At the Soundless Dawn when typing this. I've never seen them live However, i've seen Maybeshewill, 65daysofstatic, Mono and Mogwai (twice) so i'm quite a fan of my live post-rock. I personally love Mogwai's bass as well. On both occasions i saw them i've spoken to Dominic, and he was more than happy to talk about his gear and stuff. He uses Trace Elliot, can't remember which stuff exactly though. When i saw him he only used a midnight blue Rick 4003 and a Jazz. Wiki says he uses a Musicman Sabre, but i can't remember seeing that..
He does use a MM, but has modded it with two EMG Humbuckers. Maybe explains the Sabre reference. 18.
I'd love to have a go on this. Note to self: Must buy more delay pedals.
Yes.....you should.
19. No real reason The DL4 takes care of 'normal' delays. The DD6 is used mainly for reverse.. The pitchshifter is used for pitchshifting. And the headrush is last on the chain to loop everything that goes through it.
20. It should also be noted that this amp comes with free giant for obscene rig constructions.
21. This happens to my friends guitar rig. IIRC, he placed it at the end of his chain (right next to the amp) and with a sole PSU. I dont think this is a unique problem for that pedal.
