1. Don't worry - worst that can happen is that you'll get lynched...
 2.
Yes? No.
Damn - beat me to it!
 3. Hey - you can't go waving these around without pics!
 4. Good sound - good drummer and nice to see a guitarist who doesn't use distortion!
 5. The old Trace combos are great for pub gigs - esp the 300w 1x15s.
 6.
Definately keep an eye out for some second hand Trace Elliot stuff.
+1. If you don't mind the weight, they're great, great amps. That 4x10 on its own will prob be enough!
 7.
That looks terrible.
+1. Looks like it's been used to hammer in nails.
 8. £300 new - online. There's a nice stack with some Trace cabs on here though.
 9. Welcome - nice collection of basses! Would like to see pics of that Aria if poss.
 10. Similar thread here which might have some ideas for you: http://basschat.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=67391 After trying/owning quite a few different heads, I'd defo recommend the Hartke LH500 head.
 11. The cab's big and bulky but takes whatever you throw at it. With the Hartke head, it sounds great. Creamy, even. I used to have a Warwick head but found it a bit soul-less for me. Going to gig the Barefaced Compact with the Hartke head in next couple of weeks, so will be interesting to see how that does. Much as I like the sound of the 4x10, it does take up a lot of room in the car and is a two man lift. If the compact can give me the same sound live, I might think about ditching the 4x10.
 12.
I just picked up a 1110 4x10" combo from 1984
....with the help of three friends, I bet. They're heavy beasts. But they sound great - good buy! OP: There's a Hartke LH500 for £200 in the FS section. Get that and a decent 4x10 cab and you'll be laughing.
 13.
What case is that for the hartke? Nice basses, I love G&l cheers
Cheers - the G&L is brilliant. The head's just in a wooden 2u rack. It's quite heavy duty (more than I need), so I was considering swapping it for a rack bag instead. PM me if you're interested in buying the case!

 15. Edit - Nov 09. Adding a couple of extra pics of G&L and Status 4000. Enjoy! Status 4000 (from 1990)
 16. Got a chance to have a first play with the southern Compact at home today (thanks to the loan of one of OBBM's excellent cables - cheers Dave!). For starters, it's the first cab that I've been able to carry up the stairs in one hand. The amp head was heavier - no joking. Set it up in my office and at low levels, it sounded nice and creamy with my Hartke head and G&L/Status basses. Got a rehearsal soon, so will report back on what it sounds like in anger. But overall first impressions are very good. Took some quick snaps to show it on location. They're without flash, so aren't pin sharp. Will do some better ones in the daylight. Matt.
 17. Back to the Dan - I love the music and the basslines just think they're a bit up their own arts. Don't fancy seeing them live; they always look miserable!

 19.
They have done my guitarists amp and two of mine over the last 12 months reasonable prices and good turn round. I picked one up today, repaired with a new transformer, turnround time 3 days. I cant comment about prices as they are a bit out of my way and ive never bought a bass from there.
I'd recommend Steve Rowse in Godalming - bit closer to you and as he works from home, he's a lot more reasonable. Done 4 or 5 amps of mine.
 20.

Blimey - it's a Bling-ray.
 21.
Blimey, how many fences did he own?
Just the one - he sold it to Dr Nick to prop up his 54 basses.
 22. Good price - on the down side, you've got to go to Acne to get it!
 23.
And??? By the way New Brighton is on the Wirral and therefore not part of Liverpool if that really has anything to do with this sale?
It was his geographical reference - not mine...
"...from the New Brighton area of Liverpool."
But it was just a southerner making a lame joke - don't take too seriously.
