  1. Well, Resent the mail last night, att Markus, and had a reply by 8.am this morning. Question answered and all sorted. Very impressed, so thanks for your suggestion. Much appreciated.
  2. Sent a mail to AER first (3 days ago) and no reply yet although I guess, what with the holidays and all that. I'll send another, for his attention and see what happens. Thanks for the info.
  3. Just a quickie, maybe someone will have an idea. I'm clearing out a few bits, one of which is my AER Compact Mobile amp. Haven't used it for a good couple of years and now it won't charge when connected to the mains. Have sourced new batteries to fit before putting it up for sale however, the actual charge light does not light up. I get that the batteries are probably no good but I'm concerned that if I change them, there may also be a fault with the charge circuit. So, if a battery / batteries are no good, would that stop the charge light illuminating? Thanks in advance.
  4. I didn't go. I assumed "NO SPAMS" meant no meat eaters.
  5. Obviously, they'll be hoping to find a vegan with a great voice but I guess I'm sort of intrigued that if there has to be some sort of compromise, on which side would it be? A committed vegan who can sing, is maybe different from a great singer, who happens to be vegan. I'm not making fun of this. I really am intrigued by it all.
  6. Just seen this advert. I mean, you can sort of prove your a female bassist, or guy between 18 and 30 and I guess sometimes, you really do have to be committed to the performance 100% but how would they know if you're partial to the odd bacon buttie? Vegan Vocalist Wanted For Cultural Campaign Song and Fashion Music Video Hi there, I'm looking for a Vocalist who's a Vegan for a Vegan Song Recording and Fashion Music Video. I'm more into a cool character of a Vocal than a big Diva Voice, so If you're a vocalist who fits the bill etc etc.
  7. He wasn't a bass player either😆
  8. I've decided to wait for the Brian May 4 pack of artisan Scotch eggs to come out.
  9. Personally..not for me but I probably would go for a Brian May signature telescope.
  10. Isn't that a bit like a "Slash" tenor sax or a Marcus Miller Strat?
  11. Had a black SG2000 back in the day. Ex Jimmy Page guitar with providence, although I never ever saw him use one. Fantastic sound but a little too heavy. Another one of my great moves, selling that😂

  13. I'll see if I can find the link again for you but it is likely to have disappeared into the abyss where all things on Face book go when you want to find them again.
  14. A month ago, I would have agreed but I just bought one😂 A Precision that is, not the duvet cover cover.
  15. Go on. You know you want to. I'm sure the other half wouldn't mind.
  16. Hi, Does this have a working truss rod?
  17. Took this off my Status Energy as I opted for single bridge pieces. Could do with a severe clean up and maybe a quick spray. Screws and both Allen keys inc. 18mm centers. £10 + P+P.
  18. I know Jon, I sent you a Strat. If I decide to dump this, yes you can have it. All depends if I end up with a P bass of some sort for the Epi.
  19. Epiphone Joe Pass Emperor in lovely condition with a Seymour Duncan in the neck position. Pick guard missing but that's how I got it. Lots of players take them off anyway. Got this on BC a few years back. It's been great. I used it for three years solid in a jazzy duo act in France and it sounded great. Stays in tune, fab low action and comes with a shaped, plush lined hard case.
  20. I actually got the band to try these, just once in each case, and they dropped them after each one, sent the audience crazy. Considering we were a party covers band known for whipping up a frenzy, I couldn't believe how shortsighted the others in the band were. We played them well too. Very frustrating for me. Never can say goodbye, Communards version. 99 Red balloons, Goldfinger version Streets with no name I'm outa love, Anastasia Waterfront, Simple minds Word up, Gun version
  21. Any idea of weight? Can't find anything on t'interweb.
  22. Cheapy guitar seat. No stand incorporated and non adjustable however, very sturdy and probably better for playing an EUB seated which is why I got it. Nice condition, buyer collects.
  23. Did search but found nothing so sorry if there is already a thread. Jon bought a cab from me. Ultra nice guy, punctual, great comms and no problems whatsoever. Happy to chat and very helpful and informative on the subject of home built cabs. Pleasure to deal with.
