1. Sad to see a player forced into early retirement. I would not be comfortable with benefitting for your situation. But if you ever need to part with your Dingwall Z3 I am sure there would be a disorderly queue. Good luck with Sale of your Warwicks & Status. I already have a very nice limited edition FNA Jazzman, otherwise I would be tempted. Cheers
 2. What is date of manufacture please?
 3. A very good price indeed for a truly beautiful bass. If it were the SPJ5 version I would not hesitate in biting your hand off!
 4. What a sweet Z1. Feeling green with envy & sick as a parrot!! But I'll get over it!
 5.
Wow what a gorgeous bass, I want!! That settles it, think a Dingwall Z series must be my next aquisition, the next question is it to be Z1, Z2 or Z3???
Hey NORWOOD have you changed your mind about selling your Z1?
 6.
its in the stars man. You gotta buy my bass.......
You may see it in the stars, but I see myself ending up in the doghouse!
 7.
That's. Freaky. I'd love to get another Dingwall (this one looks very nice) but alas I'm currently potless. Maybe when I get my 2 Laklands and a few other bits and pieces shifted... A Dingwall Super P is on the must try list.
That is freaky as both my Afterburners are from Ballymena. One via Bass Direct and the other Ballymena Direct!
 8.
I'm pining for a dingwall jazz Or a jazz-ish something else. Are you tempted graham? You can never have enough basses y'know but the Z series is just bass heaven. Sadly I don't have the money for that just yet without making my family homeless.
I do like maple necks, but on reflection Bigwan is quite right, I think 3 ABs would even be stretching my obsessive Dingwall GAS but I might justify a Dingwall J5 or Z series (with a maple neck!) If I can sell my children haha! I am playing in Newry tonight and Belfast on Saturday, whereabouts are you based?
 9.
And what to sell to finance it?
Might have to think the unthinkable and let the Alembic go. Would sell my body but it's not worth what it once was haha!
 10.
Behave Graham! 2 Afterburners are enough for any man!
Arggh Ian, Dingwall Gas is a terrible affliction, but I think I'll hold out for a Z series on my next trip across the water!
 11. I am looking for a Z series, but maple neck option on this is so very tempting. I'm in the North this weekend too! Incidentally what have you seen to make you want to sell this?
 12. Wow what a gorgeous bass, I want!! That settles it, think a Dingwall Z series must be my next aquisition, the next question is it to be Z1, Z2 or Z3???
 13. Well I bought some Vanderkleys a pair of 122MNTs (from Walker on Basschat - Great guy) and a 210MNT from Bass Direct. They are by far the best cabs I've ever heard and played through. Coupled with my Genz Benz Shuttle Max 9.2 they really cut through the mix. The transparent sound, and power to weight ratio is amazing. Still love my Markbass mini CMD121p and CMD102P combos for convenience, but will now be moving on the bigger stuff.
 14.
regarding 102p as i wrote was my decision, but i check and i agree that traveler is Small light and with great power, so i will check, any case here i don't like to convince any one that my amps is the best, for this you need to try and to hear it, but i like that you know that the quality is better and there is no any compromise on it! about to publicizing it in right way, there is not a right way , but as I told you i recheck all here in Italy and my way to make my cab is not the same of other brands! this is very important point! many of you knows the story of some big brand, that had many problems with his Asian production and no one can say that it improve his quality! i can say this! I hope that my philosophy is clear, that is the more important things.
Many thanks Marco. Thanks for your world leading products. I have used Markbass almost exclusively for several years now and own 2 combos, 2 amps, & 5 cabs! I am thinking of updating my CMD102P combo to the LMIII version. Are the current CMD102P models made in Indonesia?
 15.
GAS does not require talent or justification, it is its own reason alone. What are you going to sell?
Decisions, decisions? Might off load the Alembic? Have sold several basses over the last year plus a few amp/cab/combos. Trouble is whenever I start a downsizing exercise, I invariably end up with more gear! ha
 16.
Doubt we'll make it mate - we're having 3 days away in early March so that'll probably be all the babysitting credits used up for a wee while! I'll keep you posted though... Glad you're enjoying the AB1. As I said before if you're ever selling it I'd like first refusal. If I ever get back to regular gigging I'll definitely have another Dingwall.
Doubt if I will ever sell my Dingwalls, but will give you first refusal if I do. Thinking of selling a few more basses (not Dingwalls) to get a Z3! Not that my playing is anywhere good enough to justify such an aquisition!
 17.
Miss that blue beasty from time to time. Hope she's settling in well Graham!
Loving that Bass thanks Ian, using it much more than the ABII and getting quite used to Whalepool Blue! Up in your neck of the woods again this March playing Newry on 21st and Belfast Empire on 22nd. If you fancy coming along I'll put your name on the door for a couple of tickets!

 19. You need to do a direct head to head (or rather bass to bass) comparison to see what best suits you. I would try a DINGWALL before ruling it out!! I had a German Warwick Corvette 5 and a Goodfellow 5 for over 10 & 20 years respectively both excellent basses but they never got used. Last year I bought a Dingwall AB and now use it all the time. Best Low B I have heard, lightweight and punchy! Good hunting!
 20. This is really terrible news. I saw their great gig in O2 Dublin a few weeks back. John was coughing quite a lot and didn't seem in best of health. Have always loved Fleetwood Mac right back from the Peter Green era. Being the bass player in a Fleetwood Mac Tribute for last few years I have studied his playing closely and come to really appreciate his understated and underated contribution to Fleetwood Mac. He is a giant. Glad they are not continuing their world tour without John as a session dude would just not be the same! Thoughts are with him in his battle against cancer. Wishing John a full recovery.
