  3. Even the cat food has gone up in price! And you cannot mess with the real landlord of this house, just look at him I've come to love LPB just so very much... one of the first custom colours offered in '63
  4. Thank you David! As YouTube and the internet says, this is the closest Non-CS you can get to CS!
  5. Thank you! The amount of times I've thought about selling but then come down to my senses...! Unavoidably, I do think this time it'll have to go... the car is stuttering and I'm on my way to zero debt!
  6. Ah thanks guys! Time to downsize though… long as I keep my stingray special (I keep telling myself…) Needless to say I this beaut sounds AMAZING!
  7. This absolute beauty on sale. Not only discontinued, but mint - being nitro, you know how as time goes it’ll be harder and harder to find them mint. I know for a fact others on sale now are scratched on lower bout - mine is mint. Full whack spec’d to the OG’s with the chunky nut, Daddario flats and 4kg if memory serves me right. Original fender mint pickguard. Very easy to handle, I grab it with thumb over the neck and don’t have big hands…! Downsizing (we should really replace my wheelbarrow of a car…), so cash is king, no trades. Can ship in its fender box and case or drive within reason for petrol money. All case and candy included. Currently on Kiogon loom, have the original loom of course. PS: original tort guard available too - mint suits OG spec better though!
  8. Haha agreed! Admissible with the Moog MF chorus, that thing is big
  9. I had never thought of a looper this way to find tones until you mentioned it in other conversations (I can be that thick at times). £40 sorts it, and uses the very last output available on my upcoming PSU and board, tighty tight but just great and a cheap pedal to guarantee I stop emptying my wallet on it
  10. Hmmm interesting! I was hoping to do most (if not all) the gain staging with the Capo alone, then potentially push the B>A config a bit more thanks to the broadcast, ie. Leave broadcast AND the A channel of the Capo always on, push B for full distortion, to jump between overdriven/boosted and full whack distortion. full clean / boost-break up via broadcast / overdrive on A / distortion all in with B>A. does it show I’m gagging to get my hands on the Capo? Seems a friend may bring it for me visiting over Easter holidays.
  11. Haha! I do think a gramma pad does best instead for stage acoustics (which I do have and love) but I’m just getting to a very picky moment in my life where most of the job gear wise is done and I’m running out of excuses to get gear 😂 Cant wait to try it with the Capo as it seems like the Capo could do with a tad small push for the gain I like (I’m a darkglass orphan child) but of course this is only theory and something I’ve seen @MrDinsdale do…
  12. Also I forgot to add 5) a redundancy of low cut/HPF if I’m doing a shitty gig where I’m forced to use ‘the house amp’ or boomy stage and don’t have my Mesa head for whichever other reason
  13. My utmost admiration! Dang... look at all those V's, even piercing out through the holes in the casing!
  14. If anyone wonders on how/why did I choose the Broadcast: 1) I can't get my Capo just yet due to a change of plans - it's in Spain and will be with me 'soon', not sure when, but do have gigs this April coming up - I've got no other gain staging other than the fuzz and the punters could leave the venue bleeding their ears out if I feed them OFF1 all through... Maybe not such a bad idea........ 2) I wanted a pedal that (in theory) I won't ditch out when the Capo is here, so, the Broadcast will be the distortion pedal for now on the short term, but will move back to a boost on the long term to thicken up and add a tad bit of breakup when the Capo is in. 3) I was tempted on the 2 footswitch dual version but I do not need 2 gain points (and another 2-4 with the Capo, not counting the fuzz) nor internal trim pots etc etc - simple works best here. 4) Fit in my board plans and good headroom (alma compressor works internally at 32v, Capo internal at 30v... Gotta pump those numbers up! Those are rookie numbers in this racket.
  15. Thanks! I agree, it’s got buckets of mojo - I couldn’t wait for the limited edition run coming at 24v (I had no gain stage yet and do have gigs coming up)… I may end up getting it still and selling either or, but we’ll see. For what it’s worth, I was able to try the pedal at 9/18/24v. biggest difference is 9-18, although I could tell 24v being cleanest, and 9v dirtiest. The more voltage the more open and clean headroom.
  16. this came in today, haven’t had a chance to try properly but initially very pleased with it, hopefully diving into it soon - board on the way with hopefully the right amount of patch cables… sounds like I’ll be building all except for one pedal left this week coming
  17. they may just be too tasty. Feel free to send over the spares 😂 the jhs pulp n peel will be the one that got away for me, but I’m so very happy with the Alma… … what are the two on the board? Tell us more!
  18. haha all this planning and spacing etc gets my anxiety up - and yes, I was initially after the OFF1 only but having seen how the LEM works in combination... OOOooooft synthy heaven! Glad I'm dragging some more victims with me I was looking for a CS6 by True Tone, seeing as the Cioks stuff is out of my budget etc... I once again rely on the Harley Benton, this time the ISO 2 pro, 8 outputs, 2 of which do 9/12/18v and £60 all in from new... did my share of lurking on Facebook marketplace and here but I didn't find good stuff used and the Harley Benton supply I've had has done me well... my only gripe is that it doesn't have the kettle lead which would be nice but that's me being picky... I'll reassess if I want to go down the route of patch bay etc...! BTW, you could probs put the Ditto and Tuner one above the other, and that cooouuuuld save you space for a mini expression pedal? I wish I could recommend mine but I've no TRS (yet) cable so can't assess how it works lol but mechanically it seems very well built! Ander.
  19. For bass* I meant. But fuzz for the sake of FUZZ is very apt here too haha
  20. Ahar! yep I considered but the PT Jr/ Rockboard 4.1 would leave a single row space that I knoooow I'd want to fill up with 2/3 pedals more, I'm trying to delimit myself to what I do need/use and forget about it 😅 The Rockboard 3.0 has just been ordered alongside the Harley benton iso 2 power supply, we shall see how things progress here, but the plan should be here: A bird told me Hudson Electronics is preparing a bunch of special runs, 24V internal operated Broadcasts (9v input required) and I'm here for that - it'll do my distortion until I can get my hands on the Capo, and still do an 'always on' boost once the Capo is here. The top row won't see much foot action anyway, distortion to switch in between songs, with fuzz / octave / chorus / delays etc on the bottom row.
  21. Well, fantastic, I've learnt my pedals would barely, just about fit a Nano Max on single row - that one is 28" vs the XPND's 24.75" Also, that will mean potentially longer runs of patch cables for the pre/post loops on the capo, or putting the capo in the middle and blocking some outputs etc of course. Back to the OG plan of the Rockboard 3.0!
  22. Thank you so much for this Jim, I’ll have a look on pedal playground and simulate it…!

  24. Haha! Interesting, I considered the Xpand1 and I love a single line thing tbh, but I will ask how’s the Velcro behaving on the layer that slides in, and have to research on space for a PSU… I do like the concept though!
