  1. So I’ve seen something I like, I can do £1700 which is what it cost me before I did a setup and crowning etc etc. Officially at loss so shoot away…! Ander.
  2. Fanboy you say? I’m waiting patiently for this Friday to be impressed - it’s even in my signature already lol
  3. @zvirus on the hx stomp
  4. thanks a lot mate, this is great info. I now wonder about the Coda, did you have a chance to try that one out or enquire with the good guys at JF? not sure if this is deemed as off topic by now but I’m just curious - promise I’m not testing your knowledge mate haha! thanks Ander.
  5. I can see you wouldn’t be wrong as my experience with the Capo has been superb - it’s now the core of my sound. I was gonna say, what’s the character of the amp like? Is it in any way based on the capo preamp or it’s own thing? Do you have the matching cab? I’ll do some research. Ander.
  6. @foya thank you for this. I am very intrigued about the Sisma indeed, I got the capo and I couldn’t be happier. it’s time to downsize for me so I will have a chance to own a Handbox R400, transformers and 3 tubes in the preamp, that sure should be exciting coming from my Mesa WD800. I will say the Mesa has been the best class D I’ve tried, I would’ve loved to compare it against Sisma. maybe some day.
  7. Hey Michi, on hold for 24hrs.
  8. £160 or it goes elsewhere for more…!
  9. Wanting quick sales so shoot me a (reasonable) offer, worst I can say is ‘no thanks’, try me!
  10. This is gorgeous and from a great seller! I want to keep my Shuker J but dang this is the profile of something I’d like to downsize to - bet it sounds amazing! out of curiosity, what’s the weight?
  11. Will consider something nice in the precision / musicman realm with £4-500 my way.
  12. Haha thank you! I’ll be honest, I’m hoping all else sell quickly so I can keep this Shuker - it may still have to go but I am just loving it really, you cannot get a neck like this under £2500 these days, dare I say even 2nd hand.
  13. Paul just bought my Ditto pedal on sale - super quick and easy, and as always such a pleasure to deal with - deal with confidence! Ander.
  14. Thank you so much David! Ah, I've enjoyed (still am) playing it and taking it to stage too - I've a very strong feeling I could well withdraw and keep it, just need the other sales to go through, think I can justify this and the Stingray Special as the two keepers. Best, Ander.
  15. Ah cheers @andybassdoyle - these don't come often and they are HUGE - in such a small package - I quite liked the video from BassTheWorld but the official ones got me good even if they were done on guitar. Happy to hear serious offers...! Ander.
  16. EBS gold high performance… I’ve a few I’m not using indeed, could post for sale I guess 😅
  17. Haha give us a follow if you fancy!
  18. £950 for you to take it off my hands or it goes out to sale elsewhere for more than that for your regret...! I won't go down any further than £950.
  19. Putting this little jewel for sale as I got a new pedal from Hudson electronics too - the Motorcycle, very similar but choosing this as it's just limited edition - could be happy with either really. The pedal is less than 3 months old. A pedal that simulates the saturation of an old recording console ala Neve, but to those uncultured swines like me this is a pedal that goes from clean boost to overdrive and distortion and a super convincing fuzz. Two gain modes on the flick switch. The low gain mode covers anything from boost to heavy overdrive, and the high gain would start at distortion into heavy fuzz. Works amazing on bass and I'm not the first one to use it on this instrument! I've used it by itself and on the pre loop of the Capo with great results. Also, depending on how clean or dirty you want it to get, it operates anywhere between 9 and 24V for more headroom/less dirt or viceversa. Comes boxed with the pouch bag etc
  20. Well - I've been offloading lots of gear since I won't be needing that much for the gigs we do (or if I keep doing live music). Means I've done away with the octave-fuzz-filter OFF1 from Mastro Valvola, same as the LEM and the Redwitch Empress Chorus, and gone back to my pedaltrain Nano. Having said that, I saw yesterday a juicy limited pedal (not edition, limited pedal altogether!) that Hudson Electronics made for Joe's Pedals... Less than 24hrs later and with big thanks to Joe (you're warned, fantastic bloke and great gear) I have the Motorcycle on my board - very, very very similar to the Broadcast, just maybe the controls are more flexible to the character/tone with the EQ controls and potentially easier to dial... if at all? The mojo and tone of the Broadcast is superb, and I genuinely don't care which one stays on the board, but the Motorcycle is limited and #8 so that one stays, Broadcast off to sale...: For those wondering, the Barefoot buttons have different heights, so I can stomp on the Motorcycle without actioning the compressor which I keep always on. Very simple but boutique/elite pedalboard now lol - super nice clean and super nice distortion, all I really need! Ander.
  21. and replied to!
  22. As you folk can see, most of my rig is on sale due to needing funds for other matters and band stuff requiring much less / potentially taking a break from stage. Gorgeous looking Squier Classic Vibe, from the best recent years of Squier I guess! Setup is great and comes with new Daddario Chromes. It's a bliss to play and a temptation to keep, but a basic pedalboard, amp and two basses is all I really need. Period correct and cleanly applied fender logo - original S/N at the back of course with the 'Made in China' stamp. Great condition for it's age with no remarkable damage.
