I’ve used an HX Stomp for ages. Just need that and a couple of leads. I recently bought a NUX MG30 as a backup and I like it so much I’m gravitating towards using that instead of the Stomp. Remember you will need to be able to hear yourself somehow if you have no amp. Relying on hearing FOH doesn’t really work. Sometimes a monitor will be provided but worth ‘spec’ing in’ an in ear (IEM) setup too. There’s lots in the IEM Bible thread about that.

I’ve also got a Unity700. Great little amp with loads of sounds. Doesn’t get much love unfortunately as I’m mostly straight to desk nowadays.

Would be great, but as a L6 user since before HD, in my experience we’ll get another update after the Stadium furore has died down. Possibly one after that then they will expect you to move on. The other side of that of course is that technology develops and hardware will have to change. It’s not like we are faxing set lists to each other anymore…

For the above two threads there is a line 6 bug forum and an ‘ideascape’ might be worth posting in. Again I reckon they will be concentrating on Stadium but who knows 🤷♀️.

Easier to go for the basic stomp. Then you can add back the Hotone 2 switch and a Chocolate 4 switch to make it big again! 😂. But more seriously I have a few purchased IRs on mine and this does everything I need - live and for recording. Great bit of kit. GLWTS! -

Quite a lot of legislation isn’t fit for purpose. It’s part of ‘the problem’. Plus the general level of education now means most of us wouldn’t /cant understand it anyway

I run a pair of those from a Livetrak L12 (so I guess running in stereo) and have never noticed any latency. I used to run them from an old Mackie desk (that must have been mono) and don’t notice any difference. Could be just me thought! I’m bowled over I can hear myself wirelessly (at all) 😂.

Cliff Richard is a vocal protagonist of the 70 year thing as a fair bit of his catalogue will expire soon so ‘stop’ his income. You can go down all the ‘his music is crap’, ‘he’s rich so what’ etc avenues but imo you should have copyright for your lifetime at least. I guess Jimi H’s family must be bricking it!

Yes, there is a Manson on eBay at the moment that hasn’t shifted for ages. Not a particularly interesting example imo mind - otherwise I’d be thinking of adding it as a sister to my fretless! I have 4 string Legacy (early ‘87 flame maple from when they were still in Buffalo) that’s just under a bed at the moment so I might be persuaded to part with that if you were interested!

I didn’t ‘pass’ the audition because I didn’t agree with one of the guitarists that John Deacon was the best bassist in the world. I said he was a ‘great’ bassist but definitely not technically the best. And it was a blues band and we weren’t playing any Queen songs 😂.
