Yes. To be honest the frequencies that cause problems are things like palm muting and handling noise, which are mostly well below 25Hz. Perhaps we should be thinking 'what's the highest frequency we need to cut?' rather than 'what's the lowest frequency we need to pass?'

<Pedantry mode> Low F (44.6Hz)</pedantry mode> 🙂 If 27Hz is the -3dB point it's probably a good choice if your rig can reproduce a low B.,

We've decided unanimously on Going Back Home because it's dead easy but great fun to play, really energetic and the sort of song that feels familiar even if you don't know it... Basically a 12 bar in A with a few extra bars and some simple stops so really easy to find your place if something goes AWOL.

Not listening yet... but I just paid £46(!!!) for the limited Edition Black Sabbath Live at Hammersmith Odeon CD on eBay. I was there on Dec 31 1981, the first of the three gigs (also 1,2 Jan 82) combined to make the CD. The first concert I saw at Hammersmith Odeon, afterwards with my g/f we went to Trafalgar Square and we missed the last tube back to Chessington. Do have some sympathy for the guy who bidded it up to £45 from 50p... but not a lot 🙂

Er... isn't the MIM precision Deluxe active ... that woudl make quite a big difference... Recently A/B d a MIM Jazz deluxe with a Flea Jazz and the passive Flea won hands down.

The made in Japan neck plate looks the twin of that on my 70s Maya fretless P.
