mc1970 Thanks for your comments, yes i picked the wood out of Paul,s supply it was an odd piece which I liked. Although I dont think I have seen a wal that I did not like. I might have seen your bass, there were a few hanging up almost finished. Good luck with yours and please send photos when you recieve it .

Im lucky to have 2 wal mk2 4 strings one fretted one fretless, one from 1992 other 2012 they are as good or even better now, as Paul does all the work himself!

Pete was such a nice guy! nothing was too much trouble, each time I visited Electric Wood even though he was busy, always took the time to talk. I still have my Wal from 92, will never sell it. Rest in peace.

I have the kam power bar cans ,they are great full colour and they dont get hot! and come complete with stand and case/covers so easy to transport.
