    I bought a wal in 92, a few years later had a problem with one of the tuning pegs it was stiff, Gave Pete a call he said bring it in, Took it to wal, As i walked in Pete had a look straight away he led me to a room full of wal basses hanging up ,and said try any out ,ordered me a cup of tea left me in there for 20 mins(not long enough as i have never seen so many wals in one room, could have stayed allday) Then Pete said all done! in that time he replaced peg with new one , put on new set of strings cleaned the bass up. and said NO CHARGE!!! What service! I still have that wal and will never sell it. Trev.

    these are great amps, I have the Hexa head owned since 92 when new, I have used mine through ampeg 8x10 cab also ebs cabs and eden cabs sounds great through all except! I bought a Barefaced Vintage could not wait to gig it But it just did not cope with the Hexa, it sounded like the hexa was to powerful and the speakers were about to blow, at fairly low volume. I ended up using it with rebelhead which was fine, so in end sold vintage as i want to use the hexa! I know Barefaced has alot of support on here , so must work well for most but for me i was a little dissapointed. but i only ever tried a vintage(which Alex no longer makes) Sorry for going on, Anyway Good Luck with the sale!

    wombatboter Thank you your right this bass sounds great with these emg,s in but i know people like these basses original. but at the end of the day it is down to personal choice. regards Trev

    not sure of cost to replace, but one of these basses went on ebay a couple of months ago for over £1600 same colour but wal pick up,
