  1. Many thanks misdee, some good advice there I’ll look into 👍
  2. Anyone had any experience with the custom shop pino precision, I don’t particularly like pino but the bass looks quite nice, how do they sound, cheers
  3. Looking at the 80’s pic a lot of the mojo is yours stub, I’d leave it as it is 🙂
  4. I used to anchor on the pickups to play all strings until I switched to 5 string, when I started using the floating thumb thing, now I only play 4’s I rest on the string below automatically, basically the same as ez mentioned above
  5. Even if you put it back to passive it’s still a bargain
  6. Cool 👍
  7. I’ve searched for the member before rather than scrolling through all the feedback looking for someone, and sometimes their feedback comes up
  8. Click the home button top left and scroll down to feedback https://www.basschat.co.uk/forum/23-feedback/
  9. Thanks mr B 👍
  10. Quick question, if you buy a used bass from the US does the vat still apply
  11. Some nice Motown there Mickey, GLWYS
  12. Definitely worth a look if it’s still there
  13. Yeah, I had a black one and foolishly sold it , thinking back it did adjust at the headstock
  14. Possibly 😁
  15. No, fender did a highway one jazz around 2005 which I think had the truss adjust at the headstock but I don’t know if they did a anniversary model
  16. Could be the Highway one
  17. Looking again, all the US jazzes I’ve had have had the truss rod adjust at the heel
  18. I saw that this morning, changed pickups and pickguard but definitely a bargain
  19. Thanks Duarte , never heard this before
  20. Can they be rewound to keep them original
  21. I know nothing about the technical things but I’m really curious to find out what the problem is, might be a silly question but when it’s plugged in and you tap the pickups is there any noise coming through
  22. Definitely agree with you there mario, that’s where Flabba has a gift for the feel of the song. I usually watch Rich for theory lessons, that’s the first time I’ve seen him play anything reggae related, I thought he did a really great job
  23. I’ve got a Tokai jazz in a case that I must dig out again , but I’ve never tried their precisions, that looks really nice, great find 👍
  24. A new one from Rich Brown playing some nice basslines
