3. Home now, have unloaded the car and just have time to watch a bit of the Rugby before going out to see a band. Got to say that I thought it was a great day today and thanks to everyone for coming and getting involved and supporting! We've raised quite a few quid according to Hamster ( Colin), but more about that later.. I'd really want to thank Andrew from D'Addario UK, Robert van den Linden from Blade/Levinson guitars, Roger ('bassace), Lozz (Lozz196) and Trevor (TrevorR) for giving their time and expertise in the various talks and workshops today, and also to Paul from the Junkyard Dogs for keeping the groove going in the Jam Room. And a huge thanks to Mrs Hamster (Sarah) for taking care of us all so well with the refreshments!! Certainly kept me going through the day, that's for sure. Big thanks also to bluejay (Silvia) for keeping the thread up to date and taking care of the social media side of things, including recording everything today.. It really makes a difference! Lastly, thanks to Colin for sorting out the venue and Happy Jack and obbm (Dave) for all their input in the planning stages.. Here's to the 10th SE Bash next year!
4. Right.. That's it - stuff sorted for tomorrow.. Time for some kip. See you all at the Bash!
5. Thanks Nick; a fine addition to the Raffle indeed!
6.
I put up two small items for the raffle, unopened set of Elites (5ivers) and a new short Speakon cable. As well as these two items I will put up my surplus EBS ( non DI ) Valve Drive pedal. But as an alternative to popping it in the raffle I will sell it for £50.00 on the day and put the proceeds to whatever charity we are supporting...
Thanks - much appreciated!
7.
Donating a extra large Stagg Pedalcase for raffle
Thanks - absolutely brilliant!

12.
Rehearsing on Saturday unfortunately... gutted to be missing Trevor's Wal talk. Any chance someone could video it?
That's a shame Rob; hope to catch up with you at next year's Bash! Have a good rehearsal and watch the highlights on your mobile device later, courtesy of Silvia..
13. ..or is that '2 sleeps'...? Or just 2 days??
14. Very nice piece of kit indeed !! GLWTS
15. Thanks for updating Silvia! The list is looking really good Just 3 days to go now...
16. Just sold my Blade B15 to BassFinn, a.k.a. Ville.. Though pretty new to Basschat, I can tell that Ville is going to enjoy being part of the wider BC community and has a lot to offer it in return. Seems to be part of a pretty vibrant bass community over there in Finland too.. Anyway, from my point of view, Ville's a great person to deal with; excellent communication, and absolutely straight up.. So deal with in confidence Folks. Enjoy the bass, Ville Nik
17. Thanks Ville, I'm really pleased the Blade arrived safely! Will post some feedback for you too... Nik
18.
Unfortunately andyonbass can't make it
Shame... Next year hopefully instead!
19.
Thanks, Silverfoxnik! Sounds like we live in the same ideal world neighbourhood!
If only ....
20. Went to see fellow Basschatter' olliedf89' playing last night in Worthing with his band, the Jukebox Junkies.. Really great band, playing some really cool stuff for on RHCP, Muse etc, through to more chart based stuff that's happening now. Very good front man who knows how to work a crowd, so it was a very enjoyable 2 hours.. Star of the show though, was Ollie who plays some seriously inventive bass lines, using a very impressive array of FX to brilliant effect! It's so refreshing to hear a band where the bass does so much more than just hold down the groove - important as that is! Here, the bass was as much a feature of the band's sound as anything else.. If you're local to Brighton, West Sussex borders, you should definitely try and check them out!
21.
Now that's how you write a for sale ad, kudos to you sir. Lovely bat too ;-p
+2 Love the 'in an ideal world...west wing of your house, etc...' scenario! Cool bass too - Ive owned a few Tobias basses over the years and they are lovely to play. GLWTS
22. Can't believe this is still here at this price.. A few years ago, these were selling on here for £700 or more! GLWTS
23.
Will be there! Can bring my puma+BB2, pedaboard, my Zon and possibly a couple of corvettes. Btw, can we bring some items for sale? :-)
Great! And yes, please bring items you have for sale; we usually have an area in the foyer for that.
24. Good Morning... This is your 'only 1 week to go' BUMP !
