  1. Do you mean you have a Shuker fretless aswell? My wife has two Shukers, and I want a Shuker fretless!
  2. I bought a “countryman” acoustic from Cash Converters, bronze strings, long scale, sounds great! £220! It actually sounded better than a Guild they had s/h for £400!
  3. I’ve just bought one! I wanted to try out a six string, with fanned frets. Got it at Dawson’s in Reading. ( bit like PMT’s ) Good store, got the bass down from Manchester just so I could try it. The one that they had has got really good wood on it, and plays very well, so I bought it. Getting on with it ok. I’m only a “home” player, and like playing bass chords, and more than just rhythm! Mike
  4. My wife has two Shuker 5 string basses, both fantastic! Jon’s a good bloke, nothing was too much trouble when we’ve been up to have work done on her 1st bass, while we were there, bought the 2nd! Mike.
  5. Hi fleabag, HMT Bass is now on Facebook, loads of interest! Check it out, let me know if you want it. Mike.
  6. Bigmuff has had serious family issues. has now been in touch. Thank you for all your comments on this subject. Mike
  7. So why won’t he answer my call, txt, msg? Strange. bigmuff69 get in touch!
  8. No, Still hasn’t answered txt, or phone call, or msg’s on site. Not very good. Total waste of my time! plus, other people were interested in this Bass.
  9. Hi all, Bigmuff69 has gone missing! Now contacted, and sorted, thanks for all your replies. Mike
  10. Immaculate condition, super wood, fantastic neck! The Fender serial no’ dates it to 2007. Comes with a very heavy duty Fender hard case. Plays superbly. This is one solid bass! collection from nr Chichester only. £1000.00
  11. Hi Karlfer, I’ve got nothing to pack the bass in except for the gig bag, haven’t really the free time to sort packing and a courier at the moment. Sorry.
  12. Rare Fender HMT Bass. Was made in Japan in the late ‘80s, early ‘90s. Semi hollow body with f-hole gloss black body, with triangular sharks tooth inlays in the fretboard. It has a P-bass pick up, together with an unbuffered piezo bridge pick up. This is an active Bass, new 9v battery fitted.( under back plate) Controls are, master volume, tone, and pick up blend, which gives a range of different tones. It is very light, and well balanced. There are some small scratches to the body and neck, and some light buffing on the front. The neck is fairly straight, and It plays very well. Comes with a Fender gig bag. Collection from the Chichester area. £400.00 ono
  13. Hi, have you still got the Korg Pitchblack Tuner? Mike
  14. Hi, I’m very interested in buying your mini bass. Slight dilemma, we are going to the Norfolk showground on Fri 2nd of Nov’, coming back, (we live on the south coast) Mon/Tues. It would be great to pick it up on our way through if that would be possible. I would prefer to pick it up rather than courier it. Are you desperate to sell, or could you hold it for me? Thanks, Mike.
  15. I’m now working on fitting leds to two more of our basses. I’m going to use a “project “ bass first, then if that works, I’ll convert my wife’s Aerodyne. We’ve tried the luminous dots, but they need a lot of charging to last a gig, even after a boost with the uv torch. I’ll take photos, and try to keep a up date of progress. Mike.
  16. My wife plays a Benavente with led fret markers, makes things a lot easier to find where you are in a dimly lit gig!
  17. It seems to be that the new Octaver (with the selector switch), likes its own power supply! I had the older version, but it developed a fault. New one is Great!
  18. I’ve had the same problem with my new Tender Octaver, very noisy when linked to other pedals. I have a Caline power supply as in the last link, with my other Mooer’s Linked to it, as soon as you connect the Octaver, loads of noise. I now use it with a separate single power supply. No props now. Mike.
  19. Hi, if this is still for sale, I’d be very interested. Let me know, thanks. Mike.
  20. What spare room? It’s full of basses!! Mike
  21. Hi all, new to the forum, so “signing” in. My wife has been learning bass for a few years now, and has joined her works band. I liked the look of a Stagg fretless, bought one, then decided I’d better learn how to play! We both have now built up quite a collection. My wife normally plays a Fender Aerodyne, my “go to” bass is a Vintage 940 FL.
