  1. We don't have no smooches over here.😒😔 Blue
  2. New Years Eve gigs are usually a "slam dunk" proposition. You guys will be just fine. Blue
  3. Three 30 minute sets is awesome. We don't have that here in the States.😔 Blue
  4. Great charity Norris. At my age the term Hospice is becoming too familiar. Blue
  5. We're playing The Barley Pop in Germantown, 3:00-6:00. This is our 3rd year playing this gig. Our band leader and husband are hosting an after party at their home. A long night for an "Old Timer" like me. Merry Christmas guys. Play, have fun and get home safely on New Years Eve. Blue
  6. Wow! Dave at our age driving to these gigs is not going to get easier.😒 Daryl
  7. I've heard negative stories about Rics even the MIJ Ibanez copies which I would have thought were a good alternative. I'm not sure I could recognize a good Ric from a bad one. Daryl
  8. Agreed,I own and play just about every important traditional iconic bass out there, except a Ric. I would love to have one in my collection. Blue
  9. Loving that red Ric. Blue
  10. The BlondiPop was packed last night. Allot of engaged young folks which was great. The 21 year olds are not usually into live blues / rock. We even played " Rockin Around The Christmas Tree" completely off the cuff. Fun night. Next gig is New Years Eve at The Barley Pop in Germantown. Happy Holidays guys. Blue
  11. This Saturday Night 12/17 Maple Road @The BlondiPop 8:30 West Bend WI I'll let you guys know how it goes. Only a 5 minute commute. We're all set up and we did our sound check early. The BlondiPop is an old very small Church converted into a club. Blue
  12. Nice gig pic. Blue
  13. Agreed , I'm from the same vintage. When everyone is clicking on all cylinders you get the same buzz you got when you were a kid. I think it's the same buzz. At my age it's hard to tell. 😀 Blue
  14. Exactly, My family had just moved from Southern Spain back to the States. I told my team mates I had played with the Spanish All Stars. There was no Spanish All Stars.😀 Blue
  15. Thanks, that pic was probably taken in 1965 or 1966. I was a dreadful baseball player, however I was able to carry myself and act like I was top notch.😀 Blue
  16. Sounds like it was a fun gig. We're playing The Blondi Pop in West Bend this Sat night. I hope it doesn't snow. I always turn the horns off on my GK cabs, our sound software doesn't like them. Daryl
  17. I was a part of a sports team. I'm the kid on the far right. Me and the guy next to me had already formed a band. 😀 Blue
  18. You never really know what's going to happen depending on the circumstances. You usually find out a couple of bars into your first number. Blue
  19. Keeping my fingers crossed that no issues arise. Blue
  20. Cool pics and huge sound.👍 Blue
  21. I dropped mine face down on asphalt in a parking lot. Couple of dings but know other issues. I gig mine allot. Blue
  22. Nice pic and very cool vintage P reissue Is it Fender MIJ ? Blue
  23. Very cool story. Something I hope everyone gets to experience. We get the same treatment when we play Summerfest in Milwaukee WI, world's largest music festival. Cool pics. Blue
  24. Very unfortunate you guys didn't get to play the gig. I would think this could happen to any of us in bands where members have full time jobs. Any big opportunity for a band could be tough unless your in a professional band and that band is the only source of income for the members. Blue
  25. " Fun on and off stage " I wish we had some of the off stage fun. Outside of being onstage we don't see much of each other. Blue
