  1. I know they can vary in weight, but if it helps at all mine is 3.78Kg - or 8.36 lbs in ‘old money’
  2. I have one of these & all I’ve done is fit some used Labella flats. Quality instrument with a low action, smooth operating Truss Rod, nice tuners and sounds & plays exactly like a P Bass should❤️❤️ GLWTS - someone will be very happy😃😃👍👍
  3. Ah, thank you for your help and advice, I would never have thought of that! Yes, that amount of delay would drive anyone bonkers. I suppose the days of completely wireless, silent noodling are a few years away yet☹️🙈🙈 Thanks again though👍👍
  4. All help gratefully received for an old ‘card carrying’ Technophobe🙈🙈 Is there a Bluetooth appliance that I can plug into the Jack socket of my passive Bass that would let me hear it through my ‘Btootos’ - pictured below - ear bud type thingies that I use on my thipad please? Thank you👍👍
  5. Steve came to the rescue when I needed a couple of knobs for my Jack Bass and wouldn’t let me send anything for them! He is a great Guy & is what BC is all about. Thanks again Steve👍
  6. Now sorted👍 A big thank you to everyone for their help, very much appreciated👍👍

  10. Does anyone have, or know where I can get one, or more of these Hohner black control knobs please? Matte finish, push on with two concentric rings as per the pics. Thank you👍
  11. Thank you, very much appreciated👍👍
  12. Hi, Has anyone ever seen a stamp like this in a 60’s P pick up cavity please?
  13. These are incredible Basses built with quality materials to a high standard. Double octave fingerboard and so easy to set up with a low action, if that’s your thing (like me) and this looks like a lovely example. GLWTS👍👍
  14. I had the 604 which was incredible - so this must sound even more incredible😳😳👍👍 GLWTS
  15. Skezza bought a Shorty Bass & a Cab from me. He was an absolute pleasure to deal with and I would recommend him to all on here without reservation. Deal with confidence Chaps, He’s a Good ‘un👍👍 Thanks again Allan.
  16. Hi, I’m in Sunny North Staffordshire. Someone is coming to look at it tomorrow evening but I can give you a shout if they don’t like it?
  17. Thanks, the necks are a bit ‘urgent’😃😃👍👍 I bought this to be my last and only Bass and it’s a cracker, I just can’t adjust to the short scale after half a Century playing long scale jobbies😟😟🙈🙈
  18. A really nice Passive short scale bass in Olly White that sounds monstrous, probably due to the Neodymium pick up and excellent electronics. Mahogany body, Maple Neck and beautiful Rosewood Fingerboard. Very easy to play with a low action & weighs a mere 3.5Kg, or 7.7lbs in ‘old money’ I’ve changed the bridge barrels for one’s that are a bit smaller in diameter to achieve a lower action, as I think the original MusicMan ones are meant for their long scale jobbies - but the original ones will be included if you don’t mind a higher action and want to swap them back. Can’t see any damage albeit with my old eyes, apart from a few very light marks on the control plate which would probably polish out with a bit of chrome cleaner and overall I would rate the condition as being 9/10 - at least. Controls are Master Volume - with handy Push Volume Boost, Three way pickup selector and Master Tone. These retail at £699 at Bass Direct & £749 at GAK so grab a bargain. WARNING - it’s very hard to put down once you start noodling😂😂 Can post to the U.K. Mainland for £25.00 via ExpressAM, before Midday - next day. What MusicMan say……… The StingRay Short Scale bass has the iconic StingRay sound shrunk down into a 30” scale length package. With easier accessibility, a passive boost, and a single humbucking pickup with higher output neodymium magnets, the StingRay Short Scale offers comfortability without compromise. The versatile pickup configuration includes parallel, true single-coil, and series modes for diverse tonal options. Finished in Olympic White. DYNAMIC TONE CONTROLS The StingRay Short Scale features a neodymium humbucking pickup with 3-way rotary switch. The pickup configuration includes parallel, true single-coil, and series modes. 19. Peter very kindly sold me a lovely wee Bass of his which I’d been looking for & he was an absolute pleasure to deal with from start to end. Superb communication and bullet proof packaging, so therefore I thoroughly recommend him to all fellow BC’ers without reservation👍 Thanks again Peter.
