Hi hi, Multi-instrumentalist (bass and drums mainly, rhythm guitar, basic keys) available for depping or more regular paid covers gigs. I live near Kingston so if anyone was looking to set up a 3 or 4 piece to play the many venues around those ends, give me a shout =) Many thanks, Andrew www.misowaki.com

My semi-hollow journey comes to an end with this guy. I've had a Rivoli which had no range or clarity, a Jack Cassady which I could never find a sound that fit what I was playing, a Warwick Rockbass that had little depth, an Eastwood classic (which as far as I remember was actually pretty great but it was almost a decade ago) and this guy; the best of the bunch by miles. I just don't get on with short scales and I need to make peace with that. Very versatile, sounds great, huge even. Growl and depth aplenty! I'd keep it for that reason alone if I was in and out of recordings all day but I can't justify keeping it at present and it pains me because my heart pangs every time I pick it up or just stare at it longingly from across the room because that's a totally normal thing to do... Comes strung with TI flats, also have the original rounds that came with (which are basically new). Only ever used at home and rehearsal. Purchased as refurbished from the states. You'll see on the back of the headstock that one of the pegs is ever so slightly wonky, doesn't affect playability but I'm guessing that's why it was sold as refurbished and stamped as 'used' on the back of the headstock. It's barely visible though. Hard case included, still has the tag on it. Keys too (allen and for the case). Trials welcome, collection preferred. Will post at buyers expense and risk. Will consider offers so don't be shy. Although not looking to trade for anything. Any questions, hit me up. My semi-hollow journey comes to an end with this guy. Trade offers: vintage Gibson Rippers or full scale hollow bodies considered. Sandbergs, Yamaha, Lakland, G&L and other similar classic styled basses. Nothing pointy or headless or too niche. Rosewood necks preferred. If we're talking Fender, USA or Japan is good. Perfect Jazz bass, excellent condition. Gigged once. Last iteration before it became the American Professional (but you lot probably know that). I'm just finally admitting I'm a P bass kinda guy. Although this is the loveliest playing Jazz bass I've owned or played. Offers considered, although I don't know why this is still with me. Practically new and less than half price of their current equivalents. One minor ding on the neck (won't come up in photos) and a standard bit of buckle rash. Other than that pretty flawless. Hard case is non-original but it's a case and it's hard. And it's covered in paint and stickers but it'll keep it safe from harm. Collection preferred, potential meet ups and local delivery considered. Delivery at buyers cost and risk. Any questions, please ask.

My ipad's speakers don't work anyway so I'll need the cable either way =)

I was not aware of this. I've got my mum's old iPad and all it gets used for is reading comics. Thanks!

I've tried all combos of ultras on and off but I'm starting to think it's actually because I'm not running it loud enough. Saw someone talking about gain setting and having it so it barely lights up when pushed but I think you're right, Lozz, think it needs to be higher. Ultras give too much scoop but I want that growl from my P bass. Was put off pushing gain too much because of the 'fault' stories but a little more shouldn't hurt... I hope.

Yeah, I've done all that but I just can't seem to find a sound that pleases me which is annoying because I sold my Rumble 500 to buy the PF500 and now... it almost tastes like regret...

Hello hello, So I've had my PF500 for a while now and I just can't seem to get the mids right. Not used to the frequency selector thing but to my ear all the mids on offer sound a bit... off. It's either scooped with ultra low or not rounded enough when just adding or subtracting with the freq switch. Any advice/tips? Thanks!

If anyone is getting rid of a PF 500 with matching HE cab (210 or 115) I'm open to trade offers. Rumble 500 Great little head, powerful and lightweight. Comes with extra foot switch for the drive channel, padded bag and original manual and mains lead. Never gigged, home use/recording only. PF410HLF *SOLD* Literally got it last week without realising it's 800w, so with just the one cab I'm only pushing 350w into it. Couple of scuffs/little tears on the tolex, otherwise as new. Welcome to come try out, Walton On Thames, just outside of Kingston. Thanks, Andrew
