Yes, Stewart Ward is going strong and I have been a user of his cables for many years. I also had a Session 1x15 combo but it was horribly underpowered. Stewart is quite open about this. Great eq but no9t much good in the real world.

The problem is, one of the 'added difficulties' is that it may well become economically unviable. That's not something you can 'work with'. No more dog and egg at the Tunnel!!

Just thought of one. Rack amps/pre-amps that don't have an input on the back. If I plug straight into the tuner then I need an extra rack space to get the cable to the front.

It was quite the thing, to add a Jazz bridge pup on a Precision, around that time. If it plays well and you like it then that's a good price. It won't drop in value but won't escalate too much either (unless it was Norman Watt-Roy's of course!!).

I am going to use the tuner out sockets on my Boogie M-Pulse 600s and there is a single jack switch socket on the amp for muting. Assuming that I want a latching pedal (click on:click off) I am wondering if I need a screened lead or not. My head tells me no, as there's no signal, but one of you guys will know for certain. Any clever person able to let me know what I need (I know a screened will work). Thank folks.

Thanks both. Could I ask what you mean by everything? By that I mean would you even list cables separately? Obviously I have mains, guitar, mic and speaker cables. Are they shown as individual cables or 5 x Jack to Jack cables, that sort of thing.

Without saying anything about the election result or future, please. I am asking a serious question that might help a good few people. If you don't know the answer please don't get the thread locked. So, how specific do you have to be on a carnet, however far into the future it is.

So, the die is cast and we're going to be out. I am guessing that means a return to pro-EU rules for those of us who play there regularly. There is a simpler form of carnet but it still requires a list of the gear. Can anyone tell me what level of detail is required? Do you need to specify what cables etc or are they all just cables? I guess I need to get a list together but just don't know how specific it needs to be.

We use the 10's in our band and they're excellent. Quite sure the 8's will also work perfectly.

Long story this one. Go back about 20 years and I became aware of an artist called Steve Roux (from a Virgin blues sampler CD). Superb guitar player and singer. Soon afterwards, I joined a band local to me and, when asked about material, though I'd demonstrate my extensive knowledge by suggesting an obscure song by this chap. My fireworks were well and truly 'doused' by the response 'oh Steve, he lives just down the road'. He was playing locally quite often. Another 5 years go by and I am in a pub when I notice the band playing contains one Steve Roux. I knew the bass player (he's a member here) and I jokingly said to Steve, if ever you get rid of that bass player, give me a shout. Time went on and I started to dep with the band (which also contained a ridiculously good drummer as the third member). This went on for a while and then things took a bit of a turn. The bass player took some time out and asked me to dep for a full 6 months. That coincided (coincided I stress) with the band folding. I suggested to Steve and the drummer that we do something on a more perm,anent basis together., Steve came up with a keyboard player of whom he had heard great things and we arranged a get together. It was one of those incredibly rare events when the chemistry is instant and it has remained so ever since.
