Looks like the perfect stablemate for my 69 Jazz!

EZ's a really nice guy to deal with too, and his coffee is lush too! I'm really tempted by this...:-/
Thank you, my good man :)

The similarities between your very tasty J and my P are marked (I think pun intended, if not initially, then certainly now).

2. Best prog rock album? Hard, very hard. For me, it would have to be one with a theme/concept for at least half of the album (so one side of vinyl). My contenders, using that premise, would be:

Close To the Edge
Six Wives of Henry Vlll
Journey to the Centre of the Earth
Lamb Lies Down
2112
Clockwork Angels
Tubular Bells

Gah! Too much prog overload in my head! Now I want to include others that don't fit my criteria.

3. So it's illegal to rip a CD so you can copy it to your MP3 player of choice, but it's OK to download said album and have it on as many devices as you wish? What a load of old dangly bits. To think that court and parliamentary time has been 'wasted' on this. Oh well, how else will corporate lawyers scratch a living?

4. Whereas I agree that it's often the player and not the bass that matters (Rick James with a Rickenbacker for instance) I can see where a very versatile bass can add to a player's sonic palette and boost confidence because of it. 2 basses spring to mind, but you'd have to go secondhand, a Fender Roscoe Beck or Stu Hamm signature.

5. Another track with members of the Meters and Lowell George, this time joined by Simon Philips on drums and, of course, the wonderful and much missed Robert Palmer.

6. I've been wireless for years. You can soundcheck, as has been mentioned, you can roam around the stage if there's room (we played a really big stage tonight and I had a great time moving around) and, very importantly, you are isolated from any dodgy wiring in the venue. Also, not standing on your own lead, or anyone else for that matter, is always nice.

In a moment of madness I made this. Modelled by my son.
Rock pose, or just being crushed under the weight? :D

Three guitars sounds like a lot going on in the same sonic space to me...
This. One of you is going to have to use a different kind of tone and I reckon clean and cutting (maybe a hint of drive) will do the job. Too much gain sounds like fun soloed, but often turns to mush in an ensemble. Best guitar for cutting through? As much as I love P90s (and I do, a lot!), it has to be a Telecaster.
