Mwahvellous.

A fine, fine instrument that I have had the pleasure of playing in the past. Get in quick, this is a top notch bass and a bargain.

I used to use one and they do get heavy, but, more importantly, they're super bulky when packing into a car, more than 2 standard gig bags combined.

PM'd mate
That is going to be a GAS fest! -
A lot of love for the Korg Pitch Black on BC, myself included.

NPD!!! Just bought a Tech21 VT Bass DI and have placed it on my board already:

I only ordered this from Thomann on Friday evening and it arrived today! Plus it was £80 (dependant on exchange rate) cheaper than GG, who wouldn't move on their price at all, a shame as, if they'd've come down just £60, I'd've bought it from them. -
Due to buying a new DI pedal, my faithful MXR M80 is for sale. This brilliant little box has been with me for years without a moment's complaint and has lived on my pedal board throughout its tenure. All the relevant details can be found here http://www.jimdunlop...uct/m80-bass-di
As it has lived on my pedalboard it doesn't have a scratch on it,

However, the battery holder/cover has lived in a draw and had a small break some time back, which I super glued successfully, but which left a bloom where the glue was used. I also notice there appears to be a new, little crack in the cover, so perhaps it has become brittle over time; who knows?

To you, £70 collected from Ez Towers in Purley, Surrey, or £75 delivered. Sorry, I don't have the original box (although I have just scoured the loft for it, as I swear it was up there). -
John Mayer's full band. Playing Pino and DeLa's lines would be great.

Most decades have some absolute drivel and gems in equal measure. However, I'm a big fan of the 80s.

Welcome. As has been said, pics please. Cool avatar BTW; I approve and was listening to Axe Victim only the other day in Guitar Guitar (closely followed by Maid in Heaven, those GG chaps have good taste IMO).
feckless, lazy bastards who think they're 'special'.
Discreet nails the problem on the head as always; good work sir, I wholeheartedly concur
The OP has dipped his toe into the low end and appears to have found the 'water' warm and rewarding. Stick with it and find folks who'll appreciate you. Conversely, throw a hissy fit and tell your current band that you are the bass player now and they have to deal with it (bass player and hissy fit aren't two things that normally go together, maybe it's time for a change). -
The premiums are cracking instruments which are, as you have said, really light. The cases are awesome too. Enjoy.
I have been hemming and hawing about moving my SR1605 on, but seeing your new addition has generated a warm fuzzy feeling towards it. -
Two solutions, both of which have been previously mentioned. 1) put your drummer in one of the plastic hamster cage thingies (possibly your guitar player too by the sounds of it) or 2) remove yourself from the situation and find a band without volume monsters.

Marvellous sounding piece of kit, I just ordered the DI version to replace my M80 (better mid control and OD). GLWTS.

Cheers Pal, that's a very thoughtful and kind offer, but if the worst comes to the worst there is always a respray option... Dare I say it! (Hopefully not though)
Don't you dare! I love that colour. Damn! I seem to have shown my hand. -
Bleurrgh! Horrible; just plain nasty looking! Look, don't fret, I'll drive over and remove it from your sight and dispose of it in a suitable fashion (see, add to the quiver at Ez Towers).
Congrats, nice one. Enjoy. -
To paraphrase the A Team, I love it when a long term goal comes together. Congrats, it looks very nice indeed; I still regret letting mine go, that and.....

Picked myself up this little beauty yesterday:
I do love a Gretsch 6120 type. I miss my old Streamliner, but it did go to fund a Stingray. -
Rick James-tastic! Nice score, congrats.

The Fender i'm sure it's SS (class-D and the cab is Neo) but i can't say the same about the H&K from what i can remember, maybe it has a valve pre.
The HK Tubemeister 36 is all tube and bloody loud, my guitarist uses one with a 1x12 cab. It also has DI if he wants to keep his onstage volume down and he often does. Rare, right? But that's 2 guitarists in a row I've played with that have the same ethos; I consider myself lucky. -

There is a program on PlanetRock today at 7pm, (My Planet Rocks) its an interview of Chris Squire by Rick Wakeman. I believe Darren Redick will play some stuff in tribute on his midnight Prog Rock progream.
They are also playing The Yes Album in full (no ads, no DJ) tomorrow night. -
