  1. The Wreckers - Rush
  2. Ah ha! They look so similar and I was quite sleepy when I posted my confusion. In the bright light of the new day I see the difference, now that you point it out.
  3. I’m confused
  4. Sulky Girl - Robert Palmer
  5. Digging in the Dirt - Peter Gabriel
  6. Shallow - Lady Gaga & Bradley Cooper
  7. Heard it for the first today, I have to agree. Could be anyone behind the singer, couldn’t detect anything particularly Floyd-esque about it. Doesn’t detract from the sentiment, however. Their name is probably enough.
  8. Gah! Well, I suppose it’s ‘show business’ and not ‘show buddies’, but FFS, what sh*tshow.
  9. Can I Kick It - A Tribe Called Quest
  10. Original lineups are hard, albeit not impossible, to find, especially with bands that have been around for a significant time, natural attrition, as mentioned in this very thread, is unavoidable, at least eventually. When it comes to Pink Floyd, there are those who bemoaned the lack of Syd Barrett, for ages. The Who is a weird one, as everyone of the original line up brought something special to the sound, the same can be said for Zeppelin, although Jason makes the perfect replacement for his old man. For the ultimate ‘are they the actual band?’ scenario, look no further than Wishbone Ash and the court case that surrounded that debacle.
  11. Far Far Away - Slade
  12. Turn it On - Genesis
  13. Gold hardware - er, didn’t I own a Ibanez 1605 with Midas like hardware? Yes. 38mm nut widths - er, isn’t one of my current, go to, short scales, 38mm? Yes. Heavy basses - hmm, what about those 3 boat anchors I owned? Um… oh yeah. Active circuits - yeah, yeah, I know. I’m starting to see a theme. Seems like, although there are things that don’t normally float my water bound craft, they aren’t necessary out of bounds. And there was me thinking I’m a fussy fart.
  14. Call Me - Blondie (again).
  15. Waiting for an Alibi - Lizzy
  16. Given the price of the Maruszczyk line, by way of a First World production comparison, I think you're doing fine, by quite some margin. Do I wish the Chowny range was cheaper, but still retaining the quality? Of course, but one has to be realistic about these things. I see from an earlier picture you had a '51 style P bass at the Liverpool show, if you see the way forward to including more cloned/inspired by basses, can I put in a shout for a 32", modern P or P/J type?
  17. Two Minutes To Midnight - Maiden
  18. It’s Four in the Morning - Faron Young
  19. At least it should cost him dearly in the lawyer’s fees department.
  20. I think a neck swap would be aesthetically very pleasing. Nice pair you have there (stop sniggering at back).

    Hi

A gear head eh? You’re going to fit right in.
  22. Daydream Believer - The Monkees
  23. Sleep That Burns - BeBop Deluxe
  24. Common sense prevails and the ambulance chasers get to go and do one.
  25. It's where the batteries live/where the original P rout would have been on the original. @6:35
