  1. Thank you! The old radio's are just for decoration unfortunately. They havent been kept in a barn for years by the previous owner which pretty much destroyed the insides. But I love the looks🙂
  2. Off course I didn't respond full of happiness because of this inappropriate selling behaviour. What did you expect🤨? But I only kept and keep to facts. We had a little negotiation about the price like is normal, and we BOTH AGREED on a deal soon. You would send me payment details for completion. So that is were it becomes rude to cancel for a slightly better deal. Just don't agree with a deal when your still busy with other possible buyers, that's just weird. If you were anxious about shipping, you should not mention that your willing to ship and should not shake hands on a price + shipping. In your ad you mention that you're happy to ship, and now you say shipping is the real reason of the cancelation... This is not slagging, it's just facts. It's my experience with you as a seller. You just don't keep your word. I won't discuss about this anymore. All has been said.
  3. Got a deal with this BC member. We agreed about price, shipping and payment method. After closing the deal the ad was put on hold for me. A day later when I expected the payment details, I got a Pm with cancelation instead. Because of a slightly higher bid he got after closing the deal. I'm disappointed by this kind of behaviour, and highly dislike it. I don't think I will ever understand this mindset some sellers have. This is not a nice feedback, but it's the truth about this seller. (in meanwhile I already sold one of my basses at a too low price, to compensate for the purchase quickly. So feel a bit double fckd). Cheers
  4. This was on hold for me. Though seller didn't kept to the deal because of a slightly higher offer afterwards. Not cool.
  5. G&L Asat bass Very cool semi hollow version of the Asat bass. It has a beautiful sunburst finish and has an optional wood binding. The bass plays great and sounds even better. It's very versatile and has some lovely powerful tones. There are only minor user marks to be found, no serious damages. All electronics and hardware work fine, and the neck is straight of course. Frets have just little wear. The original hardcase is included. Asking €1.250 (£1.125) The bass is located in the netherlands, but im happy to ship within europe/uk at buyers risk and expense. Trades/partial trades with cash my way are considered. Per example; a cool old Japanese bass, the right Stingray (lacquered neck early 90s, 2eq preferred), musicmaster bass.... Feel free to tempt me. Please do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
  6. Fernandes The Revival RJB-75 Jazz Bass Great copy of a 60s Fender Jazz, made by Fernandes in the first half of the 1980s. This is the higher RJB-75 model. It looks great with its matching headstock: This bass plays and sounds great. Hardware and electronics work like they should (it has the reverse tuners) and the neck is straight. The frets are in great condition as they were levelled and dressed a few months back. There are some (minor) damages to be found, though overall this bass looks great for its age. There is a little what seems to be glue remnants near the nut. It is fitted with Fender flatwound strings on the pictures, but now has rounds on it. Not sure what brand. Adjusted price again: €630,- / £570,- Update: Shipping (with neck and body seperated) within europe/UK is now included in the price. The bass is located in the Netherlands, but I´m willing to ship within Europe/UK at buyers risk and expense. Costs will be around £30 when shipped with the neck detached, or around £70 with the neck fitted and with crappy hardcase. Payment in euro's per banktransfer, PayPal (family/friends) or cash on pickup.
  7. If it's original and technically OK, I'd say it's a very good deal. And it's a 2eq, so that's a plus (imo).
  8. It's a 82 jazz with dots and binding. It's kind of a transition model.
  9. They are! I would like a precision special (car, rosewood preferred) that doesn't weigh a ton... Not sure if they exist😁
  10. I haven't compared them with other j sets, but I would say moderate output. I remember them as being full and musical sounding in my bass. I do not have the bass anymore. I still have a set of unused tone rider pickups though. They'll make a great upgrade for a future purchase ;).
  11. It appears that the whole fretboard has been renewed. As there is a layer visible between neck wood and the fretboard, to adjust radius for the new fretboard.
  12. I've used tone rider pickups in a 75 jazz, which sounded great. Those are pretty cheap new (around 50 for a set).
  13. Cool! Love them everytime I see one! How do these basses stand up to vintage ones? As the oldies are mostly very expensive, I've been looking at alternatives (have to sell stuff first anyway) . I think this jmj looks better than it's Japanese counterparts.
  14. Thanks! Of course I will post a little piece of proof🤗
  15. It was offered by a different seller, note by the one I bought it from. It had the same title, pics and description. But an old inactive account was used to host it. I guess it is an hacked account or something. The real seller has been communicative and sent me a picture w proof of shipping. All should be fine I think. I'm a lot less worried now, since the tracking info has had an update again since 3 days (lack of earlier update fed the worried feeling) and the scam auction has been ended. I will post again when the bass is received. Just to close this case. But please be careful with your bidding activity. I've seen more of this scam eBay auctions.
  16. I bought it from a 100% feedback seller, paid through PayPal, and have a tracking code. I've seen fake auctions before, but really dislike this connected to me. Edit: the fishy ad has been removed from eBay.
  17. This listing should be fake: https://www.ebay.de/itm/Alter-Fender-Jazz-Bass-Original-Bj-1978/332891007366?_trkparms=aid%3D111001%26algo%3DREC.SEED%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20170511121231%26meid%3D12d3e325c7fc482486ae9d6986f2ae1c%26pid%3D100675%26rk%3D1%26rkt%3D13%26sd%3D332891007366%26itm%3D332891007366&_trksid=p2481888.c100675.m4236&_trkparms=pageci%3A0433dd53-ec1b-11e8-8dff-74dbd1800cde|parentrq%3A2ce0118b1670ab4dd50430aafff6df54|iid%3A1 I bought this bass a week ago, and is on its way to me now. It looks like a fraud advertising to me with the same pictures and advertising text....From a seller with no recent feedback. I'm still feel a little worried though. Ebay customer service is so hard to reach... And I can't file this properly. Any thoughts that can comfort me?
  18. Fender USA Jazz Bass 1984 Cool and special jazz bass from the early 80s. It has the one piece pickguard and a pretty sienna burst finish. These basses are very well built, with deep contoured bodies. I believe this bass to be all original. It plays and sounds great. I enjoyed this bass especially playing the bridge pickup with the tone rolled off. Picture time: The bass is in good shape. It has usermarks of course, but it looks pretty good actually. There are no serious damages that are worth mentioning. As you can see, the neckpocket is nice and tight without gaps. I believe this bass weighs about 4.1 kilo, so its definitely not heavy. Pricedrop to £1.350 firm. I'm not interested in any lower offers at the moment. Partial trades are considered: basses (I mainly like traditional looking stuff), effects pedals, old mustang competition guitar... I´m not looking for something in particular. Though a mustang bass..... Im located in the Netherlands, but im happy to ship within Europe/uk at buyers risk. I have a low quality but good looking case available that I can use for shipping. The bass can also be shipped with the neck removed for much cheaper and fully insured shipping. Please do not hestitate to PM me if you have any questions.
