The amp buzzes/hums and the tweeter disintegrated (but you can have it too!). The box itself (apart from the hole where the tweeter goes) and the main speaker are fine. I used it as a cab with a shelf for an amp for a while, but I got something smaller & lighter (and yellower).

I nearly took mine to the Bass Bash on the weekend, but my guitar rack only had 5 slots.

I once made an octave up pedal; it was just half-wave rectification and did make rather an interesting sound - I think it was from Elektor magazine and I etched the PCB. (I've still got it, uncased, but I might get it going again some time.)

My only regret is that I didn't play more folks' basses there. As a follow on to the "I can't pick out my own bass form 20 others" session, I also got into a discussion with Darren Redick about the correct fingering for Carry On Wayward Son, whilst comparing Rickenbackers with him and @ezbass... Swag-wise, I bagged a HB Bass DI box in the raffle and now have to figure out what to do with it, and I also bought a nice little Eden 1x12 cab off @hen barn (unfortunately, I missed @rodfunnell 's comment about maybe bringing an NY121 if messaged, but this'll do). P.S. Who won the clutch bag in the raffle - I gots ta know....?

Yay - another great day out; enjoyed meeting up & chatting with all the folks and playing a few really nice basses!
