there you go, you're getting it! 🤣 seriously though, I apologise if my previous post sounded patronising - that wasnt my intent. ive often made the mistake of writing a sarcastic or fascectious remark on this forum only for it to be taken the wrong way because I didnt put a "lol", "haha" or emoji in the post so when I say this I say it because I have learnt the hard way myself. Not everyone will take the time to proof read or use "proper" English when writing a post on a forum - that said, you are right, your posts do generally seem to be more well written than most. I admire everyone who has taken the time and effort to learn another language as it is something I cannot do. I wasnt trying to be patronising, the sarcasm wasnt self evident as explained above. Mate your post that I quoted came across as missing the point and quite patronising so I was giving you the benefit of the doubt. Maybe you could try using an emoji or or a "lol" otherwise prepare to be misinterpreted. Just FYI, being able to write and speak English well doesnt mean that you can always pick up on the nuances of the language. Your post in my Ritter thread is a perfect example so maybe consider what you write before getting on your high horse.

Seems GFM can't even make up it's mind on the amps model number! It goes from a BV1001 in the title to a BV101M in the description. in the description it states Class D but in the video the guy from Bugera states it is Class C. Maybe they are dyslexic or just plain forgetful...

Thanks for clearing that up David. As I readily admit I am not an expert so I was merely making a somewhat educated guess.

In that case it would more likely be the value of the pot used rather than the type of pot used ie logarithmic rather than linear. All volume pots should be logarithmic but the value of pot used could differ providing cause for difference in the actual volume relative to the position of the volume knob AFAIK.

It could well be that those amps you remember as being louder used Class A design where as the others were Class D or another Class altogether. They may have all had the same rating into an 8 Ohm load but if they were all connected to a 4 Ohm load then the Class A amp will be able to "double" it's output into that load where as the others will not. Either that or they just had superior power supplies to the other amps again allowing them to more easily drive more difficult loads without clipping/distorting I'm not an expert but that is my understanding of It and a possible explanation for your subjective impressions of loudness.
