    Hello guys and gals....... I've got a 1967 jazz which I have to set the strings a little higher than I'd like because there is a slight bend in the neck around the 14th 15th fret. The truss rod works but at its maximum this bend is still there. I've taken the neck off and the truss rod nut and lubricated it but to no avail. Do any of you cats know a vintage bass legend that could iron this bend out for me.....so to speak.......? God bless, By the way, I'm listening to Betty Davis alot latelly, Miles' wife back in the day. The band are absolutley smashing!

    Hello mate, Just admiring the bass. Have you ever thought about putting a 2mm packer in between the saddles of the bridge? Maybe you could use something metal to help not thwart any sustain. You could do it creatively to be discrete. I did this with a 70's jazz bass and it worked a treat i thought. I guess you'd need 8mm to spare on the width of the neck.

    Afternoon all, Went to try out a bass the other week and the guy had a Markbass 802 to play through. I thought it was great. The more our house gets decorated and filled the more I need something small and light for the house. Does anybody out there have one?
