1. Superb basses..and those pickups are fabulous.
2. Bump. I now have a suitable box for shipping...I took a bit of finding! UK only please.
3. Just my tuppence worth. I've got a Thornbory built by Nigel Thornbory who now runs a very successful strings business. It has a lovely tone, can be played and heard with other acoustic guitars. I've added a K&K pick up system, and it now sounds fabulous plugged in....not like any electric bass I've played. BUT its humongous solid top, huge composite bowl type back...nearly 6" deep at its deepest...nearly 17" across! But it sounds wonderful.
4.
Does the price include UK postage?
Where are you base my friend?
5. Forgot to mention in listing that it comes with the original Ibanez fitted hard case, and Ibanez instruction manual.
6. Amp now sorted..and sounding great.
7.
These basses are utterly legendary. Works of art IMHO.
They really are. Some really neat touches, and I love the nice simple but effective controls....no stupid mid sweep/ gain nonsense, just vol, based, treble and active / passive push/ pull.
8.
Hi mate. Interested in any trades?
Gaaaah!.... I'm trying to raise some money Fello....but can't help wondering what you have in mind..PM me
9. Hi, just posted some pics. Yes by all means come down to mine for a try out. Im based near Slough. Message me and leave your tel number.
10. Up for sale is my Gary Willis GWB 1/2 5 string fretless...in that nice brown wood finish. I bought this bass as a GWB1, however, when I took it into bassgear in Twyford for a set up, it turns out that the luthier/tech was of the opinion that it was in fact a GWB2 that had been defretted. The bass is in very good (but used) condition. It has the original ramp that I stained black. Plays really well, and comes with a original Ibanez fitted hard case, and Ibanez instruction manual. UK sale only I'm afraid. Price now £700. 11. I love it ....I'd love to own one or two...or several Atlansia basses, I think they're awesome!
12. Not sure...but I'm having problems running it at low volumes...haven't tried turning it up loud, but I suspect it would be the same.
13. I don't own one..but I'm impressed by the tone of the 5 string fretles Ultra's.
