hi, decided to try some homerecording - long story short - got M-Audio Firewire 410 interface of my friend, now to connect it to my pc I need firewire card. There's quite a lot of them on ebay with price range from £3 to £55. Which one would be good for me - not asking about certain model but if you can suggest something would be great. Thanks Kris

I've found important in my practice amp that I can connect ipod and headphones for quiet practicing. Ended up buying behringer bx300 for 5 quid of ebay. Sound suprisingly good

If i can join instead of creating new topic. I want to replace drivers in my old 2x10. Want it wired into 8ohm, so can buy 2x16ohm or 2x4 ohm speakers. Any advantage/disadvantage of wiring drivers in serial or paralel mode? Does it affect sound quality, drivers lifespan or antything else? Looks like it easier to buy 4ohm drivers

You're welcome Ikay. I don't think so it's a Defil, tunning keys look similar but they were available in shops. By the look of pickups and the handle it's not that "vintage" in my opinion too. I'd say it was inspired by Hohner/Steinberger and build by some "luthier" (or just carpenter sometimes), which in Poland in 80's and early 90's was only and very popular way to get yourself half decent instrument. Looks cool but I wouldn't pay £141.00 without trying it or not knowing who really build it

Just put on fresh set of oranges on my tribby G&L. So far sounds better than old set of d'addrio XL's. Gig tonight, we'll see then
