  1. Hi Tim ha... good question! I haven’t any scales but it is the lightest of my basses. I can borrow some scales from my son on Saturday and I’ll add the weight then. I’m the meantime sorry for the delay.
  2. NO LONGER AVAILABLE. Hi all here is my second Sandberg that’s up for sale. It’s a passive VS4 in soft aged finish, great condition with a thunderous sound. I don’t really know what else to say, it looks, sounds and plays great.. it’s a P type bass. I haven’t took many pics of this but can take more if anyone is interested,. Pretty new strings, I think they are DR’s. collection required and any trial welcome. Any questions please ask. note that whilst I’ve added more images the colour looks like a more vibrant red than it really is. I just wanted to show the soft ageing on the bass and the fact that the neck is in great condition with no damage. The rosewood board is a very nice red piece of wood.
  3. Hi BC’ers I am selling a couple of Sandberg basses and first up is my Blueburst Ken Taylor. It’s in great condition, having an active 3 band eq with a switch to use it in passive mode and a splitter for the humbuckers. It all works as it should, sounds and plays great it’s the flame in the ash body really making it pop. The back of the neck has had the lacquer removed ala Musicman professionally a few years ago by Joe at Joes Guitars in Birmingham and it feels very slick. It comes with a Sandberg gig bag that does show signs of wear but still very useable. The strings still feel great and I think they are NYXL 45-105’s. I’ll let the pics do the talking now but if you have any questions please ask. Collection preferred and any trial welcome. weighed 29 Sept at 4.2kg’s on digital scales

  8. Nice one, it’s a shame this charity gig was arranged for the same weekend but will let you know. Probably going on Sat too to see my mate H in Dizzy Lizzy. I’m sure it’s going to be a great weekend though.
  9. Ok cool, I have a charity gig on Sunday but think we are playing about 6 ish so gonna try and comes across, would like to see the band and the bass!
  10. Looks awesome! Which day and what time are you playing at WV1?
  11. Hi, if these haven’t sold I would like them. If they have no worries, please let me know.
  12. I bought the TC Dreamscape pedal and another vote of confidence for Nigel, fantastic pedal, excellent transaction and even better packaging! Thanks mate.
  13. I’ll take it if still available? Please pm me your details for payment. Thanks.
  14. Just received a pedal train and Volto power supply and it’s excellent as described. I couldn’t have asked for a better deal with better comms, he kept me advised every step of the way! I hope to deal with him again, great stuff!
  15. I’ll take it please. I’ll pm you.
  16. Thanks for that Cuzzie. The reason I ask is this... tonight i rehearsed/ jammed with my mates doing our 3 piece blues rock thing, ZZ, Gary More, Black Crowes etc and I recently bought a H&K bass combo that sounds pretty darn good just for this situation. Anyway, last time I used my TT4 and was very happy it’s the sound. Tonight I used the VM4 which is my number 2 and I have to say I really don’t think the P bass type sound is for me. I was left a little disappointed but then I have to say I wasn’t really focused, work problems, sons wedding coming up etc etc. Anyway, it really has dawned on me that my current TT with Delano’s was is easilymy current favourite and now I’m thinking of selling my VM4, VS4 and KT and just getting another TT4 and dropping some Haussel’s in. I’m almost kind of fed up with having too many options and just want to have 2 basses and 1 really good bass amp. Maybe I’m just being hasty but I’m kind of hacked off that I didn’t take the TT to rehearsal?
  17. @Cuzzie which pick ups are in your TT and DK? Which do you prefer and why?
  18. That KT 5’er looks awesome 👏
  19. The KT is an awesome bass for sure, I keep thinking of selling mine as I mainly play my TT4 in a blues/ rock trio. I’ve never seen another with a kind of flamed ash finish!
