It's gonna be interesting to hear feed back on the mid control and frequency selection options.
Assumption that its an active mid control, center flat cut/boost.
240 useful for boosting
600 useful for cutting although I reckon the previous 1k is a cut sweet spot for Jazz and P basses..
A stonking bass.. I sold mine recently 🙄
Of all my basses, it was the G3 that my band mates commented on most... In the rehearsal space it was the one bass that (i'm gonna say it) cut through the mix best.
GLWS
I'm in dialogue with Leszek now and again as i'm on the list for an R400.. I sent a mail yetserday with this question, so I will let you know as when i get a reply..
You ought to check out the Hanndbox R400. weighs 10kg, so though not in class D territory it is still a one hand lift... the upside is theR 400 has a ´full plate´ 3x 12AX7 pre amp, with a modern toroidal transformer solid state output at 400W. Hand built amp for about 500 quid.
......meanwhile the R400s wait patiently for the wave of WB 100's to be completed..
And the logo is back to the older 'Handbox' instead of 'HB', nice touch
I wish we could get a statement regarding the electronic changes. I committed to an R400 regardless, but it would be nice to know what we're getting.
No worries.. Very little info on these.. spec etc.. I read on TB a suggestion that Cabs would need to be daisy chained? But i guess the speakon and Jack out put will each take an 8ohm cab?
Supprisingly few demo vids also.. wierd
Poor guy, without knowing him, we can only wish him well. I recently picked up a couple of 1126 cabs used, and I’m so glad I did. They are fantastic cabs that I won’t sell in a hurry. Shame they are out of production. Quality gear..
To revive an old thread, but how did you get on. Considering the same set up just now for a bit of fun and a couple of songs in the set. Did you get a reasonable result?
