7. Fully functional set sold. Still got 2 perfect receivers and 2 need work transmitters left. Cheers
8. They are completely removable , could say technically it comes with 4 slides
9. Not used this since I got rid of my Strategy. This is a fantastic studio quality clean di/preamp, I actually owned an Avalon U5 when I bought this and felt the sound from this was just as clear. It's 2 channels, has 1/4inch and xlr ins and outs, and some filtering options to dial out the boom in your sound. No issues with this, great condition. £80ono Cheers
10. Bought this when I was bored in a music shop one day, never really played it. Works perfectly, actually has a really nice sound, no scratches or dents basically mint. Comes with G-Force softcase, exhausts included . http://www.gak.co.uk/en/stagg-g-force-v-style-orange/6734 £120ono
11. India built 80's fender made Stratocaster, really nice low action, new set of strings and recently rewired. Functionally fine and plays and sounds beautiful but it's a got a good few scratches and dents on it. But it makes for a nice beater guitar, black with black scratchplate and pickups with maple neck and fretboard. £100ono Pics tonight
12. Gonna sell a few things I'm not using and trim the collection down. Subdecay Prometheus Blem - £100 (perfect condition, box, velcro on bottom, blem in paintwork where the depth and freq controls are labeled the wrong way round) GGG Green Big Muff Clone - £50 (few chips and scratches in the paint etc) Tone Factor Fuzz Saw - £65 (perfect condition, no box) Dredge-tone Angler - £90 (great condition, box) You can see a few below, I'll try and get more pictures tonight No trades thanks.
13. Buying new wirelesses price drop to £90ono I won't be going any lower I'll just keep it.
14. Right finally caved due to me having some important shows coming up and me only having 1 fully functional transmitter. I have 3 full sets of X2 sets but I'm breaking them down so people can buy what they need and treat it like spares Never had any issues using these in the UK or US but there are "issues" with owning these but tbh I'm hoping this sale appeals to those looking for spares for the now discontinued model. 3 x Perfectly functional, great condition (2 unused) receivers - £65 each 1 fully functional transmitter - £65 1 good condition transmitter that is missing the clip on the back and occasionally cuts out - £50 1 transmitter fully functional but few issues, the clip on the back is bent but still functional and the locking jack section has come out, I still have this and think it would be very simple to glue back i, it does how ever work with out this though the jack could easily be pulled out - £40 I think I have one box for these so who ever buys the first full set can have that. All transmitters will come with the stock cable and for an additional £10 each I have 2 functional but worn OBBM wireless cables for these Open to offers, no trades, need to get cash together because you all know how crazy expensive G30's are.
15. Are you interested in any trades I have a Dredgetone Angler I'd part with and a bit of cash for the X-Blender if you're interested?
16. Awesome Steve, I should be moving to Macclesfield soon which puts me about an hour outside of Birmingham on the train, just checked the prices and it's pretty reasonable to pop down for a 2 hour lesson every month or so.
17. I just sent Ian over at Ghost Effects an email and thought it might be worth posting it here incase someone has some better ideas or is just interested in the build that is going to happen
Dear Ian I had a bass fuzz face built by yourself a year or so ago and I\'m very happy with it so I\'m wondering if you could possibly help me out with another project I have in mind. I\'ve recently purchased a Fender Fuzz Wah, now I don\'t know if you are familiar with these but functionally they are amazing, sound wise they are a bit crap. In this link you should be able to see the functionality I\'m talking about The wah works as any wah would expect the switch isn\'t under the treadle meaning it\'s a nice solid true bypass switch. The fuzz has a similar switch and the gain is controlled by moving the treadle left or right (it\'s a basical wah mechanism using string to turn a pot) it then had a trim pot under neath for fuzz volume and a switch to change it from Fuzz -> Wah into Wah ->Fuzz My plan was to get the wah replaced with my 70\'s Kimbara wah that needs a rehouse anyway due to an iffy switch and get the fuzz swapped out for the Ghost Effects Bass Fuzz Face you made for me. This poses a few issues, first being the Ghost Face doesn\'t like being placed after the wah, it works perfectly fine with a buffer in between it so I\'ll either need a buffer making or supply a 3rd pedal in this case a Dredgetone Angler that has a buffered bypass and build a 3rd effect in which is an overdrive which to me wouldn\'t be the end of the world. 2nd issue is power, I know the Ghost Face reverses polarity so it can\'t be daisy chained, I have no idea what polarity the wah takes as it\'s battery only. My intention is to run this effect as battery only anyway so I would have no issue running 2 batteries inside, one for the fuzz and one for the wah. Though if it could be done with 1 that would be great. The good news is the Fender Fuzz Wah is HUGE it can easily accomodate all this circuitry and more. Please let me know if this is something you would be interested in building for me. Kind Regards
So there it is, hopefully Ian is up for building it else I might have to hit Max at SFX up but I know that\'s gonna be a fair old chunk of cash. Anyway, thoughts, comments, insight?
