1. I'm rocking a selmer treble and bass 50 on an 8x10 and it's nothing but drive tones
2. Yeah I generally prefer it after fuzz
3.
I've got one of the newer graphic SFTs, run off the Diago 18v adaptor. I do bloody love it for raging Ampeg/Timmy C tones, and it's so nicely touch-sensitive that I do leave it on 80% of the time. HOWEVER, I find it does not stack well with any of my dirt pedals apart from the Rat, bizarrely...Of course you'll be alright with this though! ;-)
Are you running it before or after other dirt when stacking?
4.
I wish someone would nick our guitarist's HM2. Bloody awful pedals.
I'll pay good money for a HM-2
5. SFT, makes valve amps more valvey been on my board for years
6. Well, I can probably use the modellers to get what I want but I don't need super clean hifi or at least I don't think I do
7. Urgh full range, can't I get loads and loads of high end roll off please
8. What's FRFR stand for?
9. http://www.kemper-amps.com/forum/index.php?page=Thread&threadID=4217 Hmmm
10. Ok I forgive you
11. As helpful as ever Dood
12. I'm looking for a powered PA cab for bass, for use with my modeling rig, also generally PA cabs are lighter than similarly powered combos and have all those handy handles all over them. My requirements 500+ watts Pull out handle Tilt back wheels Sub 25kgs (ideally sub 15kgs) 1x12 or 1x15 Hardwearing enough that I can just lug it everywhere like walk a mile dragging it on its wheels Neutral or bass heavy sounding So options?
13. Bump Also now no longer missing the thumbrest
14.
Already downloaded along with purchase of latest issue; an interview with Pino, it had to be bought.
The pino issue does he talk much about his use of the kemper and NIN? Not looking for a freebie but I bought an issue for a feature on JMJ to read it was just a summary of tweets
15. Ok, to give everyone an update on this I spoke to Janek recently and basically he's been absolutely overwhelmed by the response as have we to be honest. I've got 2 boxes here waiting to go out to him that will be sent probably March now and he's looking into bulk methods of shipping from him to the locations and has apparently got What I may start doing as the quality of strings varies is chucking the crap (I mean seriously people just sent us cut up strings that are of no use to anyone) and just sending across the neatly packaged and coiled ones. So if people want to continue sending the strings that's fine I'll be updating the facebook just to update everyone else.
16. Yeah never use the words finalise pedalboard
17. Ok so had a good few hours with this last night sadly, I was using a new put together rig for one bad, which consisted of a Selmer Treble & Bass 50 mk3 into a Matamp 8x10. There just isn't the headroom or low end on this amp setup to really enjoy the pedal, I mean it does some nice things but not the room moving rumble. moral of the story is don't make a 50w valve head from the 60's drive 8 speakers and then try and make it do some sub 35hz malarkey. Then on to next band practice and a fuse blew in my amp, great start, hadn't even plugged in the Beef Bag yet, but that did mean I got to plug into the PA with our 800w 1x18 power sub It just sounded great, the smoothest octaver I've ever had (I know that's not what it is but you can get that vibe). I found myself reworking bits of songs so I could play them an octave up so that I could throw this into the mix. Tonally it's quieter (noise wise) than the Meatbox I had but it's got that gnarly vibe to it, I can't imagine with how much I love this that I'd like the Hulk to much, I expect it would be a bit too clean for my grindy sensibilities. In terms of clips, it's really hard to record these pedals they are so low, they are just moving air and shaking walls, and it just doesn't come across when sat at home. I've got some gigs coming up where I'll have a nice big PA to use so it's definitely going on the board and I can't wait to shake some rooms
18. It's not going to be as good as you think, that's pretty much all I can say on it really
19. Hmmm gets me all hot and bothered
20. Yeah they sold all 10 in preorder
