  1. Open to offers on this one as the V2 costs a small fortune but then this doesn’t have all those features (but has all the ones I cared about) so maybe I’ve priced it wrong 🤷‍♂️

Good condition, no box, velcro on the bottom

  2. Good condition, no box, velcro on the bottom. Art work is a little faded.

Been wanting to try one of these for about 15 years ever since I saw in on Tony Levin’s board. Use the settings you see in the picture 🥹 it sounds incredible.

You’ve got the Orange Squeeze on one side and the Ross on the other, you can cascade them into each other, really push them. I was at a studio recently and the producer liked the Ross side to sounding like the LA2 just really thickened it up. Whereas I could sit for hours playing boogaloo bass lines with a pick and the OS side engaged.

Basically there is some tube gear I think better suits my needs. There are a lot of pedals I’m selling, this isn’t personal 🤣

  3. Like new but with Velcro on the bottom. I still have the box, badge and instructions.

A great and versatile pedal, compressions, dist/od, tilt eq, boost, xlr/di and any combination of the above.

Sounds great and I really thought it would be a 1 pedal solution for most of the things I do, turns out I just want a tube di again :D

    lovely

I have the same squier. I have been thinking how nice it would be to get the white and blue pawn shop fender to pair with it.

Yeah, I’ve had the pawn shop for a while now (had a red one I shouldn’t have sold back when they first came out) and couldn’t resist the inverse colours.

I’ll likely swap the pg so they match a little bit more. But contemplating a pickup swap to a darkstar or anything else by Novak.

Then of course both would benefit massively from lollipop tuners 😂

I also picked up a JMJ in blue but as I travel a lot I’ve got a mustang on 3 continents 😅

I took a bit of a £16.90 gamble on a Thomann Beat Bass gig bag (meant for Hofner violin basses) and can confirm a Mustang fits nicely!  The first time it was a bit tight around the upper horn but that seems easier after a day or two.

The bag has semi-rigid 20mm padding and can happily stand up on its own, so not at all flimsy.

If I end up keeping the Mustang, then I would probably buy a suitable hard case.  In the meantime, the Beat bag will more than do!

Because I’m always acquiring more mustangs currently.

I picked up this bag and it’s a tight fit but it fits none the less and is probably the smallest bag you’re going to get for a mustang style bass.

I still prefer the Gruvgear Edge but this is a great low cost option.

Outside of that Sire are making a shortscale bag that looks a lot like the Serek bags

Well, fantastic, I've learnt my pedals would barely, just about fit a Nano Max on single row - that one is 28" vs the XPND's 24.75"

Also, that will mean potentially longer runs of patch cables for the pre/post loops on the capo, or putting the capo in the middle and blocking some outputs etc of course.

Back to the OG plan of the Rockboard 3.0!

I’d suggest you look at the PT Jr or Rockboard 4.1

Personally I’d go with the Jr as I think with the pedals you’ve got and the layout you’re not going to get a lot out of the patchbay

  7. I nearly bought one as I love tube stuff that is light weight but there are varying reviews on them, noise floor issues mentioned and the power adaptor is weird that I backed away from what was a really good deal on one on reverb.

Reality is they are pretty rare most people on this forum won’t have even seen one let alone try one.

He’s in Poland, you’d have VAT and import duties to add to that price,

love my noble but not @ 2 grand

GLWTS though I'm sure someone in the EU will snap it up marvellous piece of kit.

For the price and saving it’s worth getting an EasyJet or Ryanair flight in for the day

The Eventide is going on a separate vocals board so there’s still a couple of spots for pedals here….

What are your thoughts on the Jive, I’ve been considering one but I’ve also previously tried the Deco. So wondering how similar they are and usual yadda yadda gas

It's negligible, but of course these are the kind of things that some people live with and have others tearing their hair.

    I can't imagine a guitarist liking it.

It's not so much a gap as a lack of an instant response.

That will be because it’s bluetooth, I had the same “issue” with my ipad rig years ago. It’s just never going to be as fast as mechanical

These look to be the Gotoh GB1 set — the same as on my CIJ mustang.

The Squiers use different tuners to these, which I don’t think have an equivalent Hipshot version. The hipshot HB7 set would probably fit a Squier CV if you don’t mind making new screwholes.

Would the Gotoh FB30LP be a drop in replacement for these instead of looking at Hipshot?

I just got a JMJ mustang and now I MUST have Lollipops on the pawnshop 😅

  12. Got mine yesterday, still dialing in the sounds.

Mainly got it for the USB C connection but looking forward to loading some IR’s on to it tonight.

Was very annoying having to update the firmware on first use as you need a computer (I don’t travel with one) and it’s basically unusable until you update it.

  13. Absolutely mint condition active DI Box with box.

Purchased a few months ago from here, finally got chance to go into a studio and do a shootout with my other DIs where I’ve found I prefer passive DI’s to active (and that really I miss my old big tube DI 😢)

Signal is really clean, clear and representative of the instrument.

Price includes postage and I’m open to offers and maybe trades on Radial Stagebug’s, JHS Pulp n Peels, anything Tube and DI like

The pawn shop mustang uses the same tuners as the CIJ mustangs, Gotoh GB1. The Hipshot replacement for these are the HB10 model https://hipshotproducts.com/collections/bass-tuning/products/hb10-bass-tuning-machine which can be ordered with lollipop paddles.

A hipshot HB7 lollipop set as fitted to vintera and JMJ mustangs won't fit as they require an 18mm hole where the GB1/HB10 use a 15mm hole.

This is super helpful as I thought about sourcing the fender ones.

attached are pictures of the headstock.

I don’t have anything to measure with me at the moment.

Also wondering if it would be the same tuners for the current classic vibe fsr squier mustangs?
