Trying to get one but also been playing with higher gain settings on the mojo, I just don’t know if I need an even higher gain model.

Almost definitely going to pick one up though.

Colour me interested, the standard mojomojo is killer, I’m not sure I’d need a higher gain version but more headroom 💁🏼‍♀️

I'd agree, I was just looking at the V2 (in the link) and thinking, well the mid frequencies on offer are nowhere near as useful as the V1.

But in my shootout I preferred the Fishman I have for double bass and for electric bass I have a SFX custom jobby that is pulling DI and IEM mixer duties, then I have a Countryman Type 10, then I have a Groove Tubes Tube Di and then and then and then.

Only so many DI's a man needs.......

This might actually be the best fuzz pedal I've ever tried, likely only for sale until I get to go to band practice and just force it into the mix 😂

Discontinued in 2017 and rare AF especially this side of the pond.

Bought basically because I watched this video (1m 30s in)

It is just that sound immediately no matter what you put into it, just effortlessly

Spent hours playing Queens and stoner rock tracks to then run through my current set only to find (shockingly, not shockingly) it's hard to fit a fuzz in Americana/Country music (see Malekko Diabolik for sale for the same damn reason).

There is a button you push to change voicing, so essentially no you can't do what you want there. It's either Bass Driver or VT on both channels.

Got them on my Kay specifically for that plunky tone, they work great not sure how different they really are to flats.

I was surprised by how round a tone I got out of them but it is very much in that thumpy territory.
