Thank you.  Is the Line 6 a "standard" type device that most bassists would use first?

Done a bit of that but believe me for someone who has only ever used an amp, it is always good to get on ere and ask for first hand advice!  

What would be a decent pedal? @Nail Soup    I can have te Zoom thing for a while but will need to find a pedal to go with it I presume?  A pal has an EHX pedal.....

@Doddy........ my pal has a Zoom B3 that I can loan so thank you for the advice.  Not trying to replicate any particular sound just want to know more, get involved and experiment a little, many thanks

Best place for advice is on the forum so can yo usend some suggestions, opinions please?  Never got involved with effects pedals, etc so wanted to know a simple way to get involved if that is possible?  Recommend a good pedeal, effects box that I can practise with please........

Agree, but I have too many that sound similar.....Sandberg Classic and the Yam BX1 can get that sound.  Cracking bass though, should sell as they have a good reputation according to some of my better bass playig pals!  GLWTS

Mine came from a shop in Harlesden and a smaller one in Willesden..........need to dig them out as well........all CDs now!  Also from Geno Washingtons place in West Hampstead and a couple of SKA bands in Primrose Hill.....

Need to get on Spotify!!  This thread is excellent, thank you Mr @Reggaebass   looking forward to listening to it!  Better than Netfilx (I would imagine as I don't have it!) ... will enjoy my weekend even more now..........might get a Goth thread going!  Would be well happy then!!  This forum just gets better..........
