Just like George, the older brother who passed away last month. You certainly remember "Friday on my Mind" by the Easybeats and maybe Flash and the Pan with this fantastic album named "Lights in the Night"... That was George with Harry Vanda.

Kalium sells F# strings by unity, but it will be a bit hard to find. That said I play 6 strings basses mainly because you don't have to move your left hand to play 80% of the stuff. I guess that with a 7 seven strings you go to 100% like dood said. Kalium have two types of strings : http://store.kaliumstrings.com/index.php/electric-bass-guitar/shop-by-material/hybrid-bass-guitar/single-strings.html?limit=all http://store.kaliumstrings.com/index.php/electric-bass-guitar/shop-by-material/steel-bass-strings/single-strings.html

I always thought that Mark King was blond. Must be because of the black and white picture, I guess ?

I hope that he wasn't by his clothing too.

Now That's What I Call Bang Out Of Order.......!

No more neck diving. A friend of mine had the same result with his Steamer, after 3 attemps by 3 different luthiers to fix it, he decided to use it for what it was designed at first : barbecue wood. -
The story behind Mark King playing a 6 strings bass is more "basic". He simply saw a band and the guy on the bass was using a 6 strings (slapping as fingering), he tried the bass and found the added strings interesting, ask Rob Green to make him one and the rest will become history. Remember that Mark King is also a terrific fingers only player, just like Alain Caron who also plays fretless and only 6 strings electric basses. Listen to his "D-Code" slap anthem :

This guy is much clever than what Bono claims... And Adam Clayton also has really good taste for women, but not for basses.

It's because you are too slim now.

As usual, go up on the first page of your thread, it's between the title and your ad, on the right side, just near "Reply to this topic". But you must be on the first page and first post.
-
Just go to your first post, press "edit" and then simply press "edit topic" on the low right side. Then some magical trick will happen if you don't forget to say "hocus pocus" or "abracadabra" : your pictures will be back and your original post will look like the first time. And don't forget to use the also magical "Bump this topic" button instead of putting some "up, bump, to the top,..." in a self replying post. We all have to win ... space and clarity.

Perfect, it's working. Never seen a decade go on this fast.
-
To get slim again, simply go to your profile, click on the icon on the left low side of your avatar on the left side too, upload your avatar picture again (or another), use the tool to "place" it, and then click the "save" button. You'll lose 10 kilos within seconds. Better than Waste Watcher's.
-
The "Bump" button is linked to the user, not the thread. But as I'm surely the only one using this great function, it won't be fixed before the next decade. By the way, I like when things change, it's such fun to learn new things, but I'm only half human as I'm a fretless bass player. Keep on working mods, your work is worth the sweat.

Chinese plastic one, just like the cheese. The pineapple is made out of old American white tyres. Only the cardboard box can be eaten.

Yes, and you'll also see the strength of the magnetic field by the concentration of metal particles. It's an interesting little tool.
