  1. Very nice bass Victor. I think, and I'm quite sure, that the body is made out of flamed maple. GLWYS.
  2. Not really a new concept, a French luthier called Favino, who made over than 10 guitars for the Brassens (just because he had a powerful playing and destroyed them the way Django did), has even one double guitar in his catalogue and sold a few to some renowned artists : http://www.favino.com/index.php?choix=cata-verso# But a bass plus a guitar based on the same body is quite stupid...
  3. Play it sitted and you won't feel it at all... I've got the same problem as you. ;-)
  4. Howie bought a bass off me. Very fast payment and very kind person to deal with. The hiccups he mentioned in the feedback he left for me are not his fault at all, but the bank who transferred the money in Euros (and took fee) on my Pounds bank account just because my physical address is overseas... Howie even proposed to refund the fee, but I refused because he has not to pay for a(nother) bank money making way (and this is a simple fact, nothing else). You can deal with him in total confidence.

    Sold.
  6. Not on eBay, but worth mentioned : https://www.bassic.de/kleinanzeigen/glockenklang-heart-rock-i-box-quattro-4-x-10.8190/
  7. Just the perfect pair, even if I'm not a Wal fan anymore for some personal reasons. As a 6 strings bass player, I would say that 4 strings are not enough, but if you can afford one, why not. And they both are wonderfully looking, for sure.
  8. Perfect complement to the Shuker. Buy them both, and I'll make an effort on the total amount.
  9. Go on, De Gier basses are simply perfect !
  10. Glad to see you back, Rainer.
  11. But be prepared to break your back...
  12. These Sei basses are terrific instruments, close to perfection, but I'm just like you, selling the basses I don't use because I'm so comfortable with 36 inches scale basses. Have a free bump on me for this superb bass !
  13. Look the link below, everything is crystal clear : export permit and import permit are mandatory, so is re-export permit (travelling). Species in appendix I and II can't be traded withouts those permits, while there are some flexibilities for personal "items" in appendix III. Even if you trade inside the EEC, these permits are theorically mandatory, especially for apendix I species, you could be asked for them, think twice before selling your bass with a Brazilian rosewood fretboard (appendix I, under FLORA (PLANTS), Dabergia nigra)... It's not that complicated, but both parties have to provide their own permit, which can take some time on the buyer side : call your local customs and they'll explain you how it works and provide all the necessary documents. Here is the link to the official CITES documents and you better know latin : https://www.cites.org/eng/disc/text.php
