My sources tell me the RH450 street price will be around £675 in a couple of months, so a significant knock on effect to the used price. Where does this leave the Staccato, as many people purchased or tried that model for the high end zing that the 450 could not deliver.

Is it possible to change the position of effects, as in Octaver next to Chorus? This would be my only concern in whether you need to tap 25 times to get to another effect of your choice within a couple of seconds. I currently have an M9 but have no use for some of the features such as the looper so this may suit my needs.

Played with the idea of selling this before but have now decided it is time to move on my left handed US Fender Jazz Deluxe. In very good condition with original Fender case and tools. In the popular Montego Black. I had a black scratch-plate made as I liked the idea of an all-black bodied Jazz. Still have the original gold plate. Bass is about 5 years old. Looking for £750.00. Will post pictures as soon as possible. Alan.
There was a righty Dean Pace on Leftybass a bit back that had been converted to lefty, not sure of any others around to be honest!
Thanks, yes it's a hard call. Soundwise the Bassix is excellent and pretty easy to play even with my limited Upright experience, but the look is not for everyone. Alan at Bassix gave me a hollow composite body which I may try to adapt if nothing comes up.

Recently purchased on here along with an F1. Went for the cab very much out of curiosity. Used on 2 gigs last weekend and it sounded great, but if I'm honest with myself I can't see me getting much use out of it going forward. A bit of a luxury that I don't really need! In great condition. 33lbs, 600w, 8 ohms. 4x6 drivers. HF Compression driver is more musical and smoother that the MB tweeter. It's a punchy little thing and surprisingly found it quite smooth in the lows which I wasn't expecting. All the specs can be found HERE Looking for £475.00.

As New Markbass SA450 purchased from the Bass Merchant. Comes with rack ears and manual. In great condition and perfect working order. I was looking to keep this for a while but picked up an F1 on here last week out of curiosity and that conveniently slips into my gigbag for the about town gigs. Looking for a very reasonable £400 including postage or £380 cash on collection. Will upload a picture in the next couple of days.

Excellent optical compressor pedal in great condition with original box and manual. Also comes with original power unit but it's not a uk plug, so will need an adaptor. Subtle but effective compression and dead quiet. Only selling as I have just picked up an effects unit with compressor built in. Looking for £60.00 plus £5.00 postage. This is what BBE say..... Players love the optical compressor in the highly acclaimed BBE B-Max bass preamp, so much so that BBE decided to offer the same compressor circuit in a stand-alone foot pedal. Opto Stomp soft-knee design offers transparent control of dynamics and very musical compression reminiscent of the classic designs of the best vintage optical-element compressors of the 50's and 60's. Other features include switchable -15dB pad, LED compression indicator, non-slip rubber bottom, easy-access 9v battery compartment and included external power supply.

My Clover headless 5 is 36" scale. I have smallish hands and find it fine although the slim neck helps. Maybe worth trying the neck before the bass is completed so Jon can shave more off if you think it needs it.
Cool man it'll be nice to see what the J looks like finished. What spec have you gone for pickups/electronics and neck wise?
Going back to my Bartolini J days, so Bart split-coil Js. Glockenklang 3 band eq. Neck is 34" shallow C shape. 45mm width at nut. 17.5 string spacing bridge. Madagascan rosewood board. Will post pictures when received.

Cheers guys, The J facing is Kingwood. I wanted something darkish but quite busy as I'm going for black hardware. The headless circuit is Jon's own. Pretty standard controls as in 3 band eq, Vol, Bal. The smaller knob is an external dimmer for the side leds. Switches are active/passive and coil tap.

Posted a pic of my Shuker headless before somewhere, but don't really need an excuse to do again. Second pic is of my incoming Shuker J5 which hopefully would have seen it's first gig by the end of February. Only have one picture so a build diary would have been a little short.

MB Super Synth in great condition with original power adaptor and USB lead. Purchased new last summer and used on a few gigs but hardly touched apart from occasional home use in recent weeks, hence this sale. Tried the unit earlier and all works fine. I'll default to factory settings before selling. Not sure of used value on these but they seem to be getting more popular, so £160 plus £10 postage sounds reasonable I think.

SWR Headlite 400 watt bass amp in great condition. Bought this from a fellow basschatter about 3 months back. A little indulgent as I didn't really need it (having gone back to EBS) but wanted to give a go. Used on 7 January gigs so far but incoming new bass forces sale of some gear. Sounds just like it's bigger brothers as in classic SWR tone. Great slap tone if thats your thing. Excellent variable limiter. 3 Band eq with separate eq shelving points. Variable Aural Enhancer with shift button for vintage SWR or modern (Marcus). Best check the SWR website for all the spec. Comes with gigbag and manual. £425.00 plus £20.00 postage with Royal Mail Special Delivery. Thanks for looking.

I have a Markbass 102HF cab for sale in good condition as per the pictures. 400 watts, 8 ohms. Nice and light at only 43lbs. My Shuker J5 will be ready in a month so need to start selling some pieces of gear I'm not using at this time. Looking for £350 cash on collection from South London. Please pm with any questions and thanks for looking.
