1. Now open to reasonable offers before Ebay.
2. Open to reasonable offers now, before Ebay.
3. Things move down fast on here, so bump.
4. Always liked the look of this bass. I would have made an offer if not for the fact that I have a Shuker J5 currently in the build process, plus need spare cash for other things at the moment. Best of luck with sale.
Ok, this one is a bit of a feeler, looking to sell my lovely Shuker J4E, This was the 2nd bass i had built by Jon, the bass itself is like new, there is one small scratch, which is barely noticeable, the reason this is a feeler is because i am not sure if anyone will buy a bass with my name on it (on headstock), although this is cosmetic and i am sure this could be removed, not looking to trade, unless any fellow lefties have something really special hidden away, looking for £900 J4E Build Diary, Specs etc
5. Euphonic Audio iAMP800 in very good condition and perfect working order. Comes with EA gigbag. 1000 watts @ 2ohms, 800 watts @ 4ohms. Only selling as I own a couple of other amps and need to move something on. £450.00. Postage should be about £15.00. Thanks for looking.
6. Thanks didle, and bump.
7. Bump. Price down to £80 including postage.
8. EBS Octabass in great condition and perfect working order, including box and manual. This is the latest model with True Bypass. Only selling as I've just bought a MB supersynth which also has a similar onboard effect. Looking for £90.00 including postage. Reduced to £80.00.
9. Hi All, I have a virtually brand new Little Mark Tube that may be for sale. The tube is blendable with the solid state pre and really thickens things up compared to a standard LM. Bought on a whim and sounds great but my wife reminded me that we need some spending money for Florida in a couple of months so how about £550 including postage. Could post picture of actual amp but it looks just like this with no marks...... LM TUBE
10. Got some NS Strings for my EUB about 3 years ago when visiting Bass Central in Florida. They were about half the price compared to UK. Ex Rate was a little better then I must confess.
11. This is Lee's bass (Take That / It Bites). Think he gave it some serious playing in the Rick Wakeman band a few years back.
12. Wow, how did I miss this. Looking great so far. Love the wood combination. This reminds me I have to start a build diary for my lefty Jazz 5 from Mr Shuker which I ordered recently.
13. Mike Walsh at Zoot made the the bodies for Fenders Mark King Jazz models I believe. Would be a reasonable price I think plus pick your wood and facing if required.
14. Have a free bump on me. The best pedal compressor I've ever owned and so versatile.
15. Seen this morning as well. The Who were the first band I was made about and went to some of those mid 70's to 80's gigs. Good memories.
16.
Wow, it went for only 620!?
Have seen close up photos of this bass when for sale a year or so back and does not look that great cosmetically to be honest. Hopefully it plays well which is the important thing.
17. If I get time it will go on Ebay tomorrow evening, otherwise Monday, but would rather not.
ooh i'm actually tempted by this...
18. Last bump before Ebay.
19. Gareth sold a Macbook to a non-basschat friend via my recommendation. He is very happy with it and would like to thank Gareth for making it a very smooth and friendly transaction.
20.
It obviously had enough volume to cut through the drums then?
For this type of laid back gig it did and I still had some volumn to spare. Pleasantly surprised. Wouldn't dream of using it in a normal band environment as in your average pub gig etc as it would get lost but as Doddy points out there is the 100.
21. Just thought I would share my experiance soundwise of a gig I did yesterday. Did another one for Club Wembley. Managed to get good seats when not playing and see the match for free, but thats another story. So I decided to take my Roland Cube 30 as my usual lightweight rig was overkill for the volumn this band need to play at. I could not believe the sound I was getting. Unmodified US Jazz Deluxe into the Cube. Used the TE model setting which is meant to be a Trace I understand. Virtually all tones set flat on the bass and amp with a little compression on the cube. It was kicking for all styles. But what impressed me most was when we played more jazz orientated tunes. The bass was singing on those swing lines, high and low. This was alongside a live drummer, keys and vocals. We did DI and was coming through the ceiling speakers close to the back of the room but this was not obvoius at all on stage. So any electric jazzers should maybe consider a cube30. Can be had for £70-£80 used. Compare that to the high-end mini combo prices. Worth checking out. Only downside I could see was the lack on onboard DI out but other than that I was well impressed.
