I have a Markbass 102HF cab for sale in good condition as per the pictures. 400 watts, 8 ohms. Nice and light at only 43lbs. My Shuker J5 will be ready in a month so need to start selling some pieces of gear I'm not using at this time. Looking for £350 cash on collection from South London. Please pm with any questions and thanks for looking.
Hi,cheers that would be great Very surprised how good this bass is i mostly play warwicks but this bass is very comfortable to play & you can dial in some nice tones, how are the 5 string status basses
I think the top is Burr Madrone based on some notes I found from when I ordered the bass. I also had a white bodied Status bolt-on 4 that I bought from a friend and interestingly the neck felt very different to this one. I used the 5 for 2 or 3 years but the neck was a little too chunky for me. Ended up somewhere in the US but eventually met an unfortunate (beyond repair) accident IIRC. It was a lovely looking bass. All black with side leds.

This looks to be my old bass which I ordered direct from Status 7 or 8 years back. I got the Status bug after buying Rob's first 5 string left handed neck thru graphite and this followed shortly after. I bought this one back after selling then sold on again so has had several owners since new. Will try and track down original receipt as I specified the wood facing etc but can't guarantee I'll find it after all this time. It has seen some memorable gigs.
Here's a nice status i picked up great bass Need some help with the woods on this bass can anyone help Cheers
Amp arrived today and in perfect cosmetic condition. All seems to work fine as well. First impressions sound-wise is that it definitely has a slightly more modern edge to the tone compared to the RH450. The highs are crisp and crystal clear which I could not get from the 450. Lows are overpowering... had to roll this off a little for my taste. I can see what people mean by Mid Scooped when set flat but after a minute of playing with the eq preset and a little boost there was no lack of mid punch for me. Now to try on a few gigs.

Some good points there Krispn. Luckily I always have a spare amp at any one time in case of problems. Fingers crossed ?

Thanks LukeFRC. I've just ordered one (of 2) as I've been wanting to gig this particular model for a while and probably would have paid close to that price used. They are quoting it as new with one year warranty, so if it looks a mess they can have it back. Should arrive in time for 4 gigs in a row this week which means I'll soon know if it ticks the boxes or not.

Thanks Josh. I did see that but mine was blue body with maple. I may follow it up if the Jazz sells.
Incidentally, I coooould be wrong, but I think your old Sterling is up on leftybass.com atm. I know I owned it at one point, I can't quite remember if I bought it off you though... It's all very incestuous the lefty bass market!
Cheers
Only want to stay with shipping in the UK I'm afraid but thanks for the interest. Not desperate to sell so holding out for the asking price.

Just put my Lefty Jazz Deluxe up for sale but accidently posted in the Bass Guitars for sale section instead of here..... Hi All, I've decided to move on my Jazz Deluxe 4 string due to an incoming Shuker J5. Also I'm rarely playing 4 string at the moment so this is not seeing much action. Comes with original Fender case and tools. I had a black pick-guard made as I liked the idea of an all black jazz but it does come with original gold as well. The bass is in very good condition with only some very minor surface marks on body, no dents. Looking for £750.00. The only trade I would consider is a Musicman Sterling with maple board as I miss my old one, although let me know what you have in case something appeals. Click on the link for details (exactly the same colour and spec as mine) and will upload pictures as soon as I can. Hi All, Recently acquired this in a trade as a nice alternative to my EBS which I'm using most of the time, but I purchased an SWR Headlite on here last week so wish to move this on. Both items in very good condition and perfect working order. Will post pictures as soon as possible. Looking for £650 including postage or £625 cash on collection.
by the way, as far as i know, the schack and slapper beelzebub basses had SKC graphite necks too, right ?
I think your right. The Clover 5 and Schack 5 were both 36" scale as standard and my Clover 5 is definately an SKC neck, although you could request a shorter scale to order.

I had one Steve, several years ago. Purchased used here in the UK for only £500 but i could not get on with it, the way it hung and pretty heavy I found. It ended up in Scotland.

Genuine EBS 4U Rack case for sale. Comes with a 1U Vent Panel as in picture plus front and rear covers. Came with an EBS amp I purchased but have since decided I don't have any use for the rack. Not sure of used value but an EBS 2007 price list quote 214 Euros as retail!!! I'll accept £60.00 plus £12 postage. As you can see it matches EBS cabs perfectly.

Hi All, I got this in a recent trade but have also recently purchased an EBS head which I'm using going forward, so this has to go. Only 2 years old and in excellent condition/working order. Comes with rack ears. Specification is as per the current Markbass website. Price is £350 which reflects the trade value I did so not looking to make a profit, hence the silly price for this superb amp. Postage will be £15.00 within the UK.

I stand corrected on the plate. All the Bogarts i've seen never had one like that... now there are two. As they are back in production I would email the company for details on pickups etc.

What a bargain for an excellent bass. The SKC necks are a pleasure to play. I would leave the Barts in, as the blackstone body is not something I would want to play with bearing in mind the foam core. The control plate doesn't look original but not an issue at that price.

A couple of the girl singers from (current and previous) Strictly shows have sung with my covers band and from what I understand it's very much word of mouth and being IN with the right people. The band and singers are given songs/dots on the Friday and rehearse prior to the live show. They pay reasonably well for the amount of work involved. -
