1. Just realised my last post may have come across a little sarcastic. Not meant that way at all as I did have so PM's and interest. Would love it to have stayed in the UK but unfortunately not many people know these basses over here. Soon be time for an Avatar change!
2. My Clover headless 5 will be on it's way to France in the next couple of days, so thanks for peoples PM's and interest.
3.
What are the LM tube ones like? Can they do the classic MB clean, and also have the tube blended for a bit of grit?
That's the impression I got from mine, having used an LMII before the Tube.
4. A still sitting in my garage waiting for a new home bump.
5. A little bump for my Headless Graphite 5 several posts back.
6. It's all common sense really. The piano is a different instrument. Everything is laid out in front of you. I play a little keyboard and don't expect everything to be the other way round. I would suggest that there are rarely any left handed only violin players as the option was never there at the learning stage! Left handers that could adapt are the ones that play violin. The ones the could not or where it simply did not come naturally so were put off, don't.
7.
I'm another left-hander with the decency to learn my instrument the right way round.
Would like to think that was said in humour rather than knocking some of us without your ability.
8. I'm left handed and play left handed basses and err... self taught! Whatever works to get the job done as long as your comfortable with it.
9. And me. Welcome.
10. It's got to go, so open to reasonable offers.
11. Things moving down fast here at the moment..... bump.
12. Hi, For sale is my New York 151 Cab in very good condition including fitted cover. I've been using it for backline but recently purchased a Club 102 which gives me the wedge option, so as much as I like this cab it's no longer needed. It's pretty light for a 1x15 at 37lbs and quite punchy (guessing due to the compact design). 400w, 8 ohms. Click HERE for all the specification. Price wise I'm looking for £350 but open to reasonable offers. Stores seem to be listing these just below £600. Looking for cash on collection only from South London. Thanks for looking.
13. Bump. Happy to post, so just hit me with a pretty close offer. I can only decline.
14. EBS MultiComp in good condition with box. Latest model. £85.00 + £6.00 postage.
15. Gator 3U rack bag in excellent condition, hardly used. Been sitting in my garage getting no use at all. Click HERE for details. Looking for £40.00. Preferably cash on collection.
16. Bump, now with picture of amp in opening post.
17. PM'd davebass66.
18. Looking at your style list, I would say the RH450 would be perfect. Don't be put of by the 450 tag, it's a loud little beast as many on here will confirm. Have also heard some Basschatters own both TC and Barefaced.
19. I have a LM Tube in excellent condition with rack ears and box. It's the 500w version and in perfect working order. Click HERE for the full spec from Markbass. Postage will be £20 fully insured.
20. Hi fellow lefties, I have put my Clover (from several posts back) on Arnis leftybass site at £850.00, so bottom line price is £800 if any Bass-chatters are interested.
21. Bump for a great sounding cab.
22. I owned one for several months and got that for £500, although was the first model. With the current LMIII head fitted I would put another £100 on that.
23. Hi All, Tough decision this but I'm currently reviewing everything bass related and have decided to put my Clover 5 into the market place at £900.00. It's a mid 90's 36" scale neck-thru graphite headless. Pickups and preamp are Bartolini. The neck was produced by SKC of Germany. They provided necks for all the Clover, Schack and Bogart basses. Not as chunky as the Status 5's. Shallow and fast. Most normal long scale strings can be used as the strings are held in place by individual screws at the nut (See my avatar). The bass plays well with no issues. I used it this past weekend on 2 functions. Covered all styles very well from Kings of Leon to Sinatra. As the bridge name suggests it is also a slap monster. I had an email exchange with Kai Eckhardt sometime ago as he has the same bass, electrics etc apart from the finish. Check out his You Tube clips playing the Clover. Cosmetically there is wear to the finish/gloss and some hairline cracks to the gloss on body but as you can see by the picture these are not so obvious. Have been speaking to a couple of bass friends in Germany and lefty 5 versions of these are very rare so the price reflects this. Would prefer any potential buyer to come and try and will forward more pictures on request although may not be able to do till the coming weekend as not around much till then. Thanks for looking.
