I use an amp modeller and could not give a rat's ass about convincing or accurate. All I care about is can I get something usuable that sounds good.

i checked out the GNX before getting my Johnson. I was under the impression it was just for guitarists? Obviously wrong - doh! I know Digitech own Johnson, there may be similarities between the J Station and the GNX?

a couple of months ago I bought my guitar from Macari's. Not the one on Denmark, but the one 5 mins away. I'd been to check it out and play it a couple of times, staff were helpful and happy for me to sit there and play. When I went back to buy it I managed to haggle a decent price out of them too.

Played one a few years ago and loved the ramp, which is why I had one as part of my Shuker.

i remember the Tokai's from back in the day. They had quite a good reputation - too good to be copies.

some of the Epi sig models are made in Japan, I don' think they have Gibson on them.
