Gotoh relic Lollipop Tuners Vintage spec Precision wiring loom and red dime capacitor Fender Custom Shop ‘62 pick ups Fender aged relic Pick guard Allparts Fender Precision neck 60’s Decal Custom shop neck plate Custom made black Walnut body by me. Finished in Tru-oil. Strung with La Bella low tension flats. 4kg and a 40mm nut. Plays and sounds superb. The grain in the walnut is beautiful and the sound is excellent.     Now £750 inc U.K. shipping Up for sale a lovely Clover Bass. These things are a bit of a swiss army knife of a bass, Jazz, Musicman, Precision, Wal etc sounds out of it. Has a mahogany, swamp ash and walnut body, Delano pickups and pre amp with active and passive switch. Also has dual, series and parallel switches which work for passive and a great zero fret. Beautiful basses with excellent German build quality. Just recently set up and plays A1 no dinks or scratches. The neck is beautiful and fast, sounds lush through the Handbox and Big Twin. Comes in a hard case. Sadly no need for a 5 so up for sale. No trades.

    Hmm it’s certainly not a one trick pony!! Or it does many variations of its one trick 😂 Bloody love my hoard, I have 7 or 8. All with flats, some 60’s some I made myself and all completely different.

    I remember telling my dad I wanted to learn bass guitar, so, being a good dad, he gave me every Led Zeppelin, Free and Wishbone Ash LP he had and told me to listen to them all. That was it, I knew it was right fit for me! Obviously along the way Cliff Burton, Flea et al have made their impression too, but John Paul Jones man... What a dude 🤘

    Pretty much all my basses bar 1 are relic, fake or natural I’m not bothered as long as it plays beautifully. Totally get that it’s a marmite thing and absolutely no right answer. But they are cool in my eyes. This is my latest addition, cool AF 😍

    After a hectic festival season last night was our first ‘full set’ for about 9 months. Started at 8.30 and finished at 10.55, no breaks and full on Foo Fighters set. Was bloody magnificent although I’m knackered now! Place was absolutely rammed, love playing at home and love Trillians! Best rock bar in the north east! Now, coffee!!!

    Hey man, was on a bass I bought but I believe was once on here. I’ll see if I can find the advert... it’s this bass Alpher/Warmoth Build. I’ve swapped out the active circuit and pups for a standard loom and CS Jazz pups.
